Blu-ray?

DVD only.
There was a Japanese Blu-Ray set, but it's long out of print.
P.S.- As for why we didn't get one, FUNi wasn't expecting how well the title would move (to quote Lance: "I could've won a bet!") and a HD master didn't exist when they licensed it.
I guess there still doesn't.

...Not like I would even buy a Japanese blu-ray set in the first place. It's not dubbed in English, it most likely isn't even subbed. And I would never spend $400-600 on an anime series. If I had that sort of cash around...I would I have a job.

All I did was answer the question. You're welcome, btw.

A Blu-Ray of this would be a quick purchase for me, I am holding off buying the DVD in the hopes that there will be one, this being probably my favourite anime for straight-up comedy.
I doubt we'll ever see a blu-ray release in the US. As Japan fears that their fans will get smart and smarting buying from over here, seeing as how the blu-rays codes are the same, both being A. Which sucks, I want my HD anime on blu-ray, not some lowly DVD.

What about this set?
Locomotion
animation, young adults, digital era
-.-again, that's not a Funimation release. For crying out loud, that set most likely doesn't even have English subs to them. No Japanese import set is worth the money they charge.
And I only brought this up because when it first came up as a per-order, it was set as a combo pack, but then something happened and it's only in a DVD format. They did it with Shelled Chromed Regions.

Well, I guess the recent announcement of the S.A.V.E edition oficially puts an end to my hopes on this one. Bad times.
I was really looking forward to a bluray release, but the SAVE edition is releasing on May 14.
