Actually both have gotten mostly positive reviews, I will admit I don't care much for mad overal myself, But I see nothing wrong with gumball, I find it quite creative to incorporate all the diffrent styles of animation into one show, hand-drawn, CGI, Stop-Motion characters all living in the same world, pretty neat concept if you ask me.
Now I will admit the episodes themselves are lacking at times, but the series overall is hardly anywhere near the worst cartoon ever or a bad cartoon in general. (again tottally gonna keep defending shows till the name of this thread is changed.)
But to keep on topic, I did find the Tottally Spies Spin-off Amazing spies to be rather sub-par, yes I know its french and not american or canadian, but its still a toon dag nab it, lol.
That Problem Solverz was really bad too. Just a bunch of bright colors is all I seen while watching.
Yeah Problem Solverz was just a mess. Funny story, it was actually pichted to Adult Swim, but got rejected, the show we got was basically just an even dumber version of a rejected AS piolit, lol.
XD doesnt really have many toons anymore sadly. But yeah they are lacking in quality animation on the comedy side. Action is decent though, Avengers is a solid toon.
Speaking of a flaw from the 1980's shows, I have to add "The Flintstone Kids" to this list.
I know the 1980's into the early 1990's was seemingly the era when it seemed every cartoon from the 1960's and 1970's was being "redone" with the cast as kids, but this was the worst of the lot and engaged in the most annoying retcon of any of those 'the cast is now all kids' shows from that era, at least in my opinion.

Isn't It Great To Different, Isn't It Great To Be Who You Are!? Once You Learn To Accept Yourself, You'll Become A Shining Star.
MAD is so predictable that's why I think it's bad.

What retcon would that be?
