I know everyone has a dream job but how many actualy work at their's? I'm lucky to say I work at mine and was woundering if you worked at yours. If not then just say what your dream job is and where in the process you are to getting it.
I always wanted to work for a railroad, drive trains and travel. So out of high school I started applying and 2 1/2 years later, 165 applications, a college cource, and a crap load of travel to interviews later I was blessed with my dream job.
So now that you know about me and my dream job how about you?

I'm not in a paid position, but I work with musicians and audio engineers. All I know is that I wanted a job (or career) that was "Musical".
So far, the church (that I go to) are trying to find musicians based on what I was looking for. I did an audition, and after that, they asked me for specifics on what kind of musicians I wanted to work with. We have a guitarist and a keyboardist, and all we need is a drummer. Now I have yet to meet the musicians, but I'm trusting my music worship pastor on that.
I'm also currently in the process with a metal band on production work on one of their songs. I'd say we're close to done.
Again, I'm not in a paid position, but I'd rather go for the experience then the $$$ right now.

Keep up the good work AgeTyree
, you'll get there soon enough.
My dream job is to be an orchestra player
A rail road job? Sounds cool. At the moment I am thinking of having my first job this summer working a local movie theater. Though this is still just thinking, I don't know if I will for sure.
Well the dream job is certainly in the works and I can feel it.
I always felt the need to get out and talk with people, share my expertise and get something
out of every encounter I've gotten. I received the job title of marketer for a Molecular Imaging Center in one of my neighboring towns. Communicating with doctors, getting out there hosting events for them to sponsor us has been a fun, crazy, nerve wrecking and a one of a kind experience.
I've always had a dream of marketing my own business doing something in the videogame industry or anywhere that has to do with our culture of anime and manga. Two days ago I was given the opportunity to begin working with the owner of a videogame store in Clifton New Jersey called Digital Press. One of the only stores in all of New Jersey to concentrate om the new and old consoles, and praises as well as recognizes the effect all prior consoles have had.
My objective is to scope out the area, study our demographic and bring in a solid new set of customers. Divide and Conquer by attracting our audiences with all new experiences in the store with tournaments, new sale strategy etc etc.
I now have two amazing jobs doing the same thing. I hope to one day dive deeper into my passion for the industry and make the job with the true passion into a full time thing instead of splitting it with my other great job.

I can't say I'm at my dream job yet, but it's a start. My dream job is to design, build, and develop software for video games, whether that be the backend engine it runs off of, or the frontend of the actual game itself. But currently, I'm developing software for a healthcare company which was my second choice, lol!
My dream job is to be a OT Forum Troll
(Just kidding)
I want to go into the NHL,
Not sure what I want to do for a dream job as I have many interests. truck driving is one. I'm interested in being a monk also-christian or buddhist (I'm sort of a hybrid with regards to religion) and the tech field is of interest.l
So far I've worked in healthcare as a medicine tech/caregiver and with my parents in their retirement home business as an all around employee. Also worked twice as an electronics salesman and most recently as a cell phone tech which while not a dream job has its perks (decent pay for entry level etc)
Well which would you take a dream job or a dream career?
My dream job for right now is to work somewhere that pays decent or plain good(retail or restaurant).
My dream career is to become a journalist for a popular magazine company,on the side is to write novels that I'll think about publishing, and a small business to help children/teenagers who loves writing, sell books, and gives tutoring.
The power of geass compels you!!!!!
my dream job would either have to do with music or art.
