Hello their, I don't know if this topic is already on Funimation or not, so... Anyway just put an Novel (not manga) you wound like to see be turned into an anime show/film or a manga and why.
I'll just start things off,
I would like to see "The Great Gatsby" as an anime film, It's a great American classic with a combination of realism and romanticism with the perfect characters as well as a great use of symbolism.

I could think of tons, mostly science fiction.
Hmmm, I love Tony Daniel's "Metaplanetary" series. It's about an inter-solar system civil war, but with all sorts of deep SFnal stuff about posthumanity. They have really good, somewhat anime-esque, characterization.
I also think lots of the popular YA science fiction novels would make good anime, like Leviathan, Uglies, The Hunger Games, and such. They have that "light novel" feel, and are a good length for a 12-episode or 24-episode series.
The Guardians of the Flam series by Joel Rosenberg is always a great series and could be good. A fantasy series with a group of college students playing D&D get sent into the game world as their characters, and so on, and there's a "talking" dragon eventually.
A bit more about the series from the wikipedia page:
"Guardians of the Flame is a long running series by author Joel Rosenberg and is arguably his best known work. The series is about a group of college students who participate in a fantasy role-playing game, and are magically transported to the world of the game by their gamemaster.
The first book, The Sleeping Dragon focuses on the former students struggling to survive in the world of the game. The series progresses with the students choosing to live in the 'game world' and forming their own community, which is in part based on opposition to the ubiquitous slave trade.
In the later books, the focus shifts from efforts to destroy the slave trade and on to various characters dealing with the changes in the fantasy world wrought by the former students (now mostly 40-somethings). The final three books shift focus to a new set of protagonists, relegating the 'Other Siders' to supporting cast and cameo appearances."
Oh wow good question, I could probably start listing off tons and tons but if I had to pick one or two off the top of my head I'd go with The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy for some reason I just feel like the humor and action could translate very well for the series.
The Owls of Ga'Hoole series, Count of Monte Cristo (based off the book, not a crazy futuristic re-imagination), and even books like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings but I'd have really high standards for those two, probably having to direct them myself if I were to enjoy them
Mebbe The Stranger by Albert Camus.
