The legendary creator of Gilligan's Island and Brady Bunch has died...

Sherwood Schwartz, the man who created both Gilligan's Island and Brady Bunch, has died. He was 94.

This man was a genius at creating some of the most memorable series, even if they were a bit campy. I still watch Brady Bunch at times on Sundays when the show is rerun on MeTV.

In the article that I linked, it said that Schwartz was working on a feature film version of Gilligan's Island

Anyway, I send my condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed.

Aww man, this totally sucks. I'm not big on Brady Bunch at all but I love Gillgan's Island, even have some of it on DVD. This is a horrible loss for the entertainment industry of old, and for his friends and family is well. He seemed like a terribly nice man.

R.I.P.

I was never really into any of those older shows, but just look at how much of a cultural impact they've left. If Sherwood Schwartz isn't immortal, his creations sure are.
