Quickly though I'll say since you liked Claymore (Awesomeness!) check out the Berserk series as I thought it was very good and has a similar hack & slash fantasy setting. Darker Than Black is simply cool and the last few episodes really come into their own with personal sacrifices etc aplenty. I'll also have to recommend Birdy the Mighty series 1 & 2 as I wasn't sure what to make of it but It is now one of my favorite series. Has a balance between action, drama, comedy and has some well placed tragedy.
