My friends, I am happy to announce, the pony world Domination Continues! This April BUSHIROAD will be bringing the series to Japan Here is the teaser poster as well as part of the Japanese dub cast and the companies plans.
-Japanese title is My Little Pony トモダチは魔法 (tomodachi wa mahou = Friendship is Magic)
-scheduled to begin airing on TV Tokyo in April of this year
- the show will be available in both Japanese dub and original English
-recognition of older pony fans was mentioned
-4 of the mane 6 voice actresses were revealed:
- Applejack: 徳井青空 Sora Tokui
- Rarity: 佐々木未来 Mikoi Sasaki
- Pinkie Pie: 三森すずこ Suzuko Mimori
- Rainbow Dash: 橘田いずみ Izumi Kitta
- The 4 voice actresses listed above are the main characters in Tantei Opera Milky Holmes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milky_Holmes
- Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy will be revealed at an event in March
- toy line marketed towards young girls
- other merchandise such as magazines, accessories, and smart phone applications will be marketed towards middle school age through college (and if I know my Japanese marketing, you are SURE to get a TON of awesome, made only in Japan pony merch!)

But on a more serious note I do see some good stuff coming out of this such as
- Some High quality Pony PVC Figures & Plushies, as well as lots of other fun random merch *seriously Japan likes to put characters on things even more then we do*
- The show getting more international prestige gives Hasbro more reason to keep renewing it, akin to how Japan does simmilar things with Pokemon & Yugioh.
- In the past U.S. toons that have gotten big in Japan (ALA PPG, the original Transformers) have eventually gotten anime adaptions &/or Spin-offs. If MLP were ever to get such a treatment, It could be pretty fun to watch.
But theres also some cons to be had
- If they do get awesome merch, importing will be a pain. *To my wallet that is*
- Pony Doujinshi..... let us pray theres more fun SFW then NSFW.
But yes, Sufficed to say, we are one step closer to world domination. VIVA LA PONY!!! XD

I'd expect merch to show up at US cons. Still won't be cheap, but you won't have to pay import prices. As far as doujinshi goes... I just wanna see a Nanoha crossover. Mahou Pony Lyrical Twilight: Befriendination is Magic.
And the whole Japanese pony thing has brought me to a shocking epiphany... Ponies are &^%$ing moé. Everything makes so much sense now. Bronies are like literally the US equivalent of Magical Girl otaku.

But yeah honestly thats a pretty legit comparison, I know for a fact a fair amount of Bronies are also fans of series like Card Captors, Madoka Magica, Sailor Moon, etc.
Heck the the main characters if humans would basically be magical girls SAILOR SENSHI! ELEMENTS OF HARMONY UNITE!!! XD.
Although I do wonder how they will classify it in Japan, since its overall an Action/Adventure, Comedy, Magical Girl, Moe *Cause Of Fluttershy XD* Slice Of Life. Oh yes I do believe pony will do quite well with our brothers over seas. It is, as they say, Mahou Kawii! *Magically Cute or whatevers *
All I have to say, Fluttershy is now new best Element of Manipulation *Sorry Rarity* XD

The whole thing is Narrated by John DeLance (Discord) and Tara Strong (Twilight) makes an appearance at the end. OK the latest episode Just For Sidekicks has aired and... I LOVED IT!!! Mainly because
.....
- Lots of continuity Nods
- Classic Style Cartoon Humor & Structure was very well executed
- Has been one of the few episodes from the season NOT to suffer from Wonky Pacing
- Its always nice to see the characters get new/more interaction with the pets
- Nice to see the pets all have personalities of their own
- It was nice to have an episode giving most of its screen time to side characters *Thus the name*
- MLP Equivalent to Girl Scouts now cannon *Celestia help us all*
- And again just great character interaction on all fronts.
My only cons
- Sad they qot rid of PeeWee, but then again I guess keeping a Pheonix in a Library isn't that smart of an idea.
- Sweetie Belle's Cute "Squeker" voice was on way to high this episode.... her VA must have had a vocal cord issue.
But yeah this was a fantastic episode, Corey Ann Powell, not only proved she could write good heart warming episodes in her debut in "Sleepless In Ponyville" But now with "Just For Sidekicks" has proven she can write great classical style comedy episodes as well! And again I love how this episode had proper pacing, despite its hyper cartoony tone I never felt like it was rushed, I don't know if its powell's writing style or what, but her episodes so far all seem to have excellent pacing, they really must give her more work in future seasons.
I will say though I do feel kinda bad Spike's season 3 episodes have just been comedy fodder, especially since his season 2 episodes were about expanding his character, but in the end its not to bad, I do hope though in future seasons we can have at least 1 Spike episode be about development and then leave the other one to comedy.
But yeah overall i'm more then satisfied, it was fun episode, I can't remember the last time I laughed as much on a Saturday morning.
Also I find it funny out of all the Gemstones he collected for pet sitting Rarity gave him the smallest one.... Element of Generostiy my flank... Girl you needa start treatin dat Dragon bettah!
And in closing, seeing Dash give Tank an Eskimo kiss before she left him with Spike was adorable.
So I was you know like, watching My Little Pony (Season 1 : Episode 11 "Winter Wrap Up" ) and Twilight Sparkle made this birds nest. It was kind of a end of winter, welcoming the birds back thing. It was so crappy looking. She was already upset she had no luck doing any other jobs other ponies were doing and that is when Spike the little purple dragon said " That nest needs to be condemned. Rarity then says " Oh.. ha ha Spike, Its not so bad maybe the birds can use it as ..?" and Spike finishes her sentence by saying " an outhouse."
Darn it SM, you pretty much cover all the stuff there is to talk about.
Thank Celestia this episode worked out so well. After Spike at Your Service I was pretty nervous about this, but it worked excellently. It was great to see the spotlight on the pets and secondary characters for at least one episode.
I have to admit though, those must be some darn good snow globes to get the CMC excited. It's like if someone got excited off of airport nicknacks. Crystal Empire must do a pretty good job at making them...
Speaking of the Crystal Empire 1. Woohoo! Continuity between two back to back eps that's not a two-parter! 2. Please, please, please redeem Crystal Empire. It's more flat than cardboard as it stands now.

@Neon & Renzo: I actually posted that earlier. But yeah they really made some good animated sequences for that Brony Documentary. You know, i've noticed there have been more "Nerd Culture" Docs being made lately *ecspecially for Comics, with all the Marvel movies & what not* I wonder how long before we get a good anime-centric documentary. As of now when it comes to the history of anime & manga all we have are a few books. Some one get busy on an anime doc STAT!!!! XD
But ahh back on topic, I think my only lil quip with the video is, even though its used jokingly, they did not need to even bring up the word "Clopping" I mean I know that any one who spends any time on the internet knows stuff like that exists for EVERYTHING, but yeah...
