Well Lauren Faust & her crew have taken what was previously just a genaric toyline for lil girls and managed to make a legitaimate all ages cartoon series out of it. But then again the gal did work on PPG & Foster's so its to be expected. It just goes to show you, with the proper Writing & Art direction, anything can have a legitimate toon.
I have some interesting news... Seems theres going to be a limited Edition MLP: Friendship is Magic Poster Handed out at Comicon... I can honestly say I am more envious then ever of those who are lucky enough to go.
All of the charaacters from season 1....man I want this so bad.....guess Ill wait till someone puts it up on Amazon or e-bay and I have to pay an arm & a leg...oh Comicon...why must u taunt me with your exclusive merchindise! WHY!!!!
I'm not a watcher of the show (being a guy and all) but just watching this Hangover parody makes it seem hilarious

Seriously, people look to much into this, a good toons a good toon... if men can watch shows about magical girls, cutsy moe gals, etc....I see no legitimate reason why a male can't watch a show about magic toon horses.
But again to each their own. And yes, Parody videos are 20% more entertaning with MLP.
