One thing that has been Brought to my attention is that the 1st season in the series doesnt air in canological order, random eps taking place in random parts of the year, aperantly season 1 is supposed to take place over Twilights 1st year in Ponyville, if that is indeed the case, there needs to be a certain order in which one would watch the episodes to have the story fit... after much research, it seems this would be the proper order to watch the Eps in..

MLP: Friendship Is Magic Chronology for Season 1: SM44 e edition 1

Friendship is Magic PT 1 & 2 (Piliot 2-parter, so of course it comes 1st, so duh)
Ticket Master (Tickets sent to Twilight as a gift for beating nightmare moon of course, sets up for season finale)
Look Before You Sleep (AppleJack & Rarity don't get along at all, they along with Twilight are still deveoping their friendship)
Boast Busters: Twilight is still developing her realationship with the other 5, thus the reason she doesnt want to use her magic after she sees their distaste at Trixie's Boasting, Spike Still nervous around Rarity Snips N Snails & Trixie make their debut.
Griffon The Brush Off Pinkie Pie's Admiration (platonic or otherwise) for Rainbow Dash is revieled, Dash however thinks pinkie is an annoyance, this ep starts off the two's friendship
Bridle Gossip: 1st Apperance of Zeroca, also 1st notable apperance of AppleBloom.
DragonShy This is where we see Fluttershy 1st start to develop a more courages & assertive side when she protects her friends against the Dragon
Over A Barrel: Apperantly Happens Before Applebuck season since the appolosians have yet to harvest their crop.
AppleBuck Season: Big mac may have hurt his back having to wear a gurdle after losing a bet to AJ in Ticket master, and is still recovering, thus the reason she has to pick the apples by herself, and Twilight has gotten better at her Teleportation magic at this point then she was in Ticket Master.
Feeling Pinkie Keen: Twilights first time spending a signifigant amount of time with pinkie, also fairly early on since applejack comments on how she understands Twilight hasnt been in PonyVille long enough to understand Pinkies "Pinke Sense" Powers
Call of The Cutie: The episode that establishes the Cutie mark crusaders, obviously happens before other crusader themed eps.
Suited For Succes: Raritys Fashonista side is displayed, her Fame as a designer rises
Green With Envy: Characters have had time to develop their friendships, Fluttershy & Rarity are no Spa Buddies
Swarm Of the Century Raritys Dresses from Suited For Success are Briefly seen in the shop the Episode.
A Dog & Pony Show Spike Isn't Nervous around Rarity anymore, meaning his Crush has had time to settle abit.
A Bird In the Hoof: Twilight Mentions how the Princess has read about her friends in the letters she has been sending celestia, meaning this most likely happens later on in the series.
StarMaster: Cutie Mark Crusaders Group is still fairly new, thus the reason AppleBloom, Sweetie Bell, & Scootaloo are still somewhat over excited at their get togethers. Also Establishes Fluttershy as the Pony the Group respects the most (outside of scoot who avidly worships Rainbow Dash)
SonicRainboom: The Sonic Rainbooms 1st Apperance in the series, also 1st Apperance of Cloudsdale, and the WonderBolts.
Owls Well that EndsWell: Spikes character flushed out more, Scootaloo's admiration for Rainbowdash brought up.
Fall Weather Friends: 1st & only Epsiode set in fall, further development for AJ & Dashe's friendship.
Winter Wrap up: Set at the end of winter (wow talk about a time skip)
Cutie Mark Chronicles: Tells the Orgions of the Main six Cutie Marks, also most likely set before showstoppers since the crusaders don't have their clubhouse yet.
Party Of one: Set in early Spring it seems: celebrates Pinkie Pies & her pet Gator Gummies BIrthday, also shows us more sides of Pinkie Pies Personality, which will most likely come up again in season 2.
ShowStoppers: Seemingly set during the crusaders spring break. second notable apperance of snips & snails who still look up to trixie despite her fallout in boast busters as seen in the fact they are doing a magic show, cutie mark crusaders love of 80's Glam rock revealed through Talent show performance, lol
The Best Night Ever: Season 1 Finale, so duh, lol. And yeah set during the spring of the following year after Twilight came to Ponyville.

and theres the canonical order of the eps...as far as I can tell.... hopefully this well help those still getting into the show.
