Oh, please. I'd bet MONEY they knew about the character. Ice Man was a lawsuit waiting to happen. He looks like Captain Cold, and has a name that is the same as Iceman. Hell, he's also a copyright infringement toward the Ice Climbers!
Also, it's Amalgam. Not whatever you said that sounds sexually unsatisfying...
Hahahah, oh man, good stuff. Anyway...Any new info on Flash Point Blight? I know I'm a way off on that, but I'm still interested in it.
Not to my knowledge. I found out who this character Hot Pursuit is, but that's about it.
I'm about half way through the newest volume of Fables and it's proving to be incredible. Rose Red is finally getting back to the way she was it seems.
Also in the Volume before it it's Bufkin vs Baba Yaga!!! INTENSE!!! And wild ending!

It is now official: Marion Cotillard and Joseph Godron-Levitt have been cast in The Dark Knight Rises.
Marion will he playing the role of Miranda Tate, a Wayne Enterprises board member eager to help a still-grieving Bruce Wayne resume his father's philanthropic endeavors for Gotham. This goes against earlier rumors that she would be playing the Daughter of Ra's Al Ghul.
Gordon-Levitt will play John Blake, a Gotham City beat cop assigned to special duty under the command of Commissioner Gordon. This also goes against a rumor that he'd be playing the son of Carmine Falcone, which would have made him brother in some form to Catwoman.
Things are starting to narrow down further and it looks like they AREN'T adding a trillion villains to the cast. This is a good thing.
Sorry, wouldn't have double posted, but the edit features on this forum suck donkey balls. Other Batman news:
Here is a first look at the Batman: Year One animated feature!!
Bryan Cranston will be playing Gordon, Ben McKenzie is Batman and Eliza Dushku will be Catwoman. Oh and Alex Rocco will play the role of Carmine Falcone. The art looks like it will be awesome. As much beef as I have with another Batman story, I gotta say I'm stoked for this.
So there making Batman Year one into a DTV, interesting, looks like I have anohter one of those to look foward to this year. Still waiting for the Thor: Tales of Asgard DTV from Marvel/LionsGate. Well I went to the comic shop today, Picked up the new Sonic Universe (#27) Gotta say I've really enjoyed silver's story so far, I hate it how so many comics end on Climaxs though, I have to wait a month to see Silver & Enerjak Duke it out....ahh man! lol.
On the superhero Side of things found an Issue of the New Avengers (2K3 Series) that I was missing in the dollar bin and issue four of Laura's is't series Target: X-23. Aside From that I'm looking foward to going to the big comic shop in the city on Friday and buying another Box as well as more slips & covers, maybe getting some back-issues of some of the Marvel Stuff I've missed.
And on an Ending note, Don't forget People FreeComicBook Day is on May 7th! Be sure to go to your free comics and swag before your local store runs out, lol.

Ah, good old Fables, has Bill Willingham ever written anything bad? Not so far from why I've seen. That's the writing record I want
Yeah. Because parkas aren't public domain.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks great, I want it now, maybe yesterday if possible.
So it seems all those Dark Knight Rises rumors were bunk (at least in terms of who they would play), still good to know what's going down
