I know I cannot have been the only one to see the commercial for this.
Cartoon Planet, a classic segment of Cartoon Network from a long time ago, is back....and it's airing the older shows that made Cartoon Network famous. [including some of the 90s to early 2000s classics]
...That is awesome. That's a Friday block I'll be all to happy to tune into weekly.
Don't get me wrong. I still have great fondness for CN and I think it has some good new stuff and hope it gets more good new stuff to counteract the bad new stuff [like anything live action...that is the worst thing Stuart Snyder brought to the network]
But yeah. Looking forward to seeing more classics.
[Though there are a couple of more recent stuff as well, it seems]

Good news through it probably won't get me to watch CN again since i've pretty much don't watch TV anymore.

Sounds like this generation's Boomerang.
"It's all coming back to you..."
"It's all coming back to you..."
More or Less, cept Boomerang (the channel) has been showing the 90's CN stuff for years now, lol.
But yeah, looking foward to checking this out tonight, although i'll probably have to DVR it since I already promised a friend i'd go see Wrath of the Titans with em.
But yeah this deffinantly makes up for CN's recent lackluster upfront (not looking forward to the Nick Cannon skit show....not at all. New Batman & Dragons looks fun though.)
LET ME PLAY FOR YOU, THE SONG OF MY PEOPLE!!!
I still miss Toonami.
Blame Williams Street for canning the block to focus on Adult Swim.

Sounds like god answered our questions.......or someone hit the owners in the head...and it gave those creepy looking cartoons a shine
