Re: Ask The Member Above You A Question: Round Table Discussion.

My altruistic answer is Captain Planet bc he would be able help save the earth and promote a more realistic lifestyle for humans to maintain Earth.
My selfish answer is Bender Bending Rodriguez bc it would be awesome to party with him!

Given the choice which super hero's identity would you most like to assume?

I would totally be Deadpool, because Chimichangas! Oh and he's practically immortal, and insane, always fun.

If A Demon offered you 1 wish, would you accept it?

@ soundmonkey - Tennant is my favorite, but there will always be a special play in my heart for Eccleston. Never forget your first, etc. wink

Hmm... I'm really bad at superlative answers, because I have too many interests. I'm going to go with Gandalf, just because.

Let's see...

Are socks a necessary evil, or an essential article of clothing?

I think that socks are essential. I cannot stand wearing running shoes barefoot and then when later taking them off the insole sticks to your foot and comes halfway out...am I the only person this happens to? On a side note I have always wondered why the smooth comfortable looking side of the sock is the outside and the part with the seams and that looks less comfortable is on the inside.

Do you think Daylight Savings times is needed or unnecessary in the technology laden interconnected society we live in today?

Without socks your feet end up smelling like Zesty Cheese Doritos after pulling them out of a sneaker/workboot etc. from all the sweat, and it's tough to get it off, you have to wash your feet with bar soap, shampoo, body wash and just let them soak; howdo I know? I went camping for one night and forgot socks, I suffered for my sin.

I think Daylight Savings Time makes no sense whatsoever anymore, and is really just needlessly confusing with as much business is international nowadays.

What's your favorite piece of anime/fandom swag that you own?

Probably my Saber figure. It was the first one I ever bought.

Question: if you could have any one mecha in real life(and presumably the competency to pilot it), which one would you want?

I would want MEGAS! I mean who wouldn't want a Robot with A car for a head!?

And for the next question... Do you ever dream of electric sheep?

"Do you ever dream of electric sheep?"

Not being an android, I would say, "No". But most of my dreams become very hazy shortly after waking. Now being a Blade Runner could be interesting.

Question - How do you like to best watch Anime? e.g. - in a group, by yourself, on the PC, big screen TV, etc.

Re: Ask The Member Above You A Question: Round Table Discussion.

@ D.S.,

Never watched in a group so I couldn't comment on that. I have basically finished my man cave now (Panasonic 60", Roku, Internet, 360, BD, and my finishing touch: a Klipsch SB-3 surround sound bar) and it is perfect for watching anime on my TV, although that really doesn't mean much since I use the Funi Roku app, and have an HDMI cable running next to my recliner so if I want to stream anything (such as from TAN) I just plug that into my laptop. My favorite combination would have to be blu ray to my TV though.

If you find a series through streaming that you really enjoy and are especially a fan of the artwork of, will you 1.) finish it, 2.) finish it and then buy the BDs (or DVDs) at a later date to watch later, or 3.) stop watching and let the anticipation build until you actually get the physical copy and see (and hear) it in the best possible method? I primarily go with option 2, but with rare cases of seeing a preview (KNK was one such) I just blind bought the BDs.
