I'm listening right now and gotta say pretty interesting, glad to know that funi at least wants to get more shows for the older crowd. That gives me hope we may see more classic & more artsty modern shows released on DVD/BD in the future ( Give me mah Tatami Blu-rays Funi!) And lol at DBZ still being their best seller.
Also somone at funi watches the hub, neat (they should try to pitch a show to em.)

I was glad to hear about Black Lagoon Seasons 1 and 2 being re-released, and it sounded like blu ray versions for them too, That will be an instant preorder, just like the blu ray Lains that they are going to come out with and same for Hellsing Ultimates. Glad to hear Railgun and Index are now being worked on (I've never seen them but I think I might like them.) Also that they are working on Steins;Gate, although I don't remember them mentioning blu ray for this, and as that was one of my top two shows this season, if it isn't I'll have to go the import route. Overall sounds like they have some good stuff coming up for us, and it's also good to know that they are well aware of Nico Nico video player's ummm...shortcomings (about 2 inches all the way around.)

Listening to it myself right now and I agree with you Soundmonkey that it's great to hear they're still trying to think of the older crowd, I'm crossing my fans for Tatami Galaxy as well, still also waiting for my Serial Experiments Lain release!

Agiain, I do like the the way the explain how the current market is (even if that explination makes me want to go & punch some of my fellow fans in the face, lol.) I think we all have always know though that the pervbait....er I mean ecchi shows sale well, they are easy money, just like long runnig shonen. But yes again the fact that Funi at least wants to get more series aimed at an older crowd is a good thing, will they ever actually start doing so, who knows, but if they do, I will be one happy son of a gun, lol.
But again the types of shows funi do & don't pick up all depend on sales of exsisting products...So I guess I'll have to do my best next year to snatch up all of their noitamina releases.
