Any who IMO Adventure Time is the best original series Cartoon Network has had since Ed,Edd N Eddy ended (with Regular Show being a close second)
I love how the series is a mix of basically everything a child has in their imagination, with a rich and interesting cast of characters & fantasy setting. Not to mention the whole darker undertone of the fact the series takes place 1000 or so years after a nuclear holocost!
I think my favorite character is Marceline, best Demon/Vampire Hybrid in toons!
As for my favorite episodes anything involving Marcie, the Ice Kings past, or the Lich, what I like darker stuff.
Also heres an interesting vid from PBS on why Adventure Time may be so popular with Teens & Adults on top of kids!

That two-episode special with the leech kinda dissapointed me though. I was hoping for a more dramatic thing to go on. But saying this im probably not a true fan of Adventure Time.

The latest Episode "Bad Little Boy" was pretty good, seems like were getting closer & Closer to a Finn & Jake/ Fionna & Cake Crossover ep, yep only a matter of time. Also, Marshell Lee & Marcelline must team-up for an epic rock balled someday!

Gotta admit, I don't watch a whole lot of the new generation cartoons these days, but this show (as well as Regular Show) def. make me chuckle every time I get a chance to watch!

I don't blame yea most TV in general isn't worth watching, but since 2010 the U.S. animation industry has made a bit of a comeback, AT & Regular show are both great, and on the action side while all short lived, Green Lantern, Generator Rex, Sym-Bionic Titan, Thundercats, and Young Justice are all solid toons.
I'd also recommend checking out Dan VS on the HUB, its pretty fun as well.
But yeah Adventure Time is deffinantly in a league of its own, basically pure imagination in animated form, Pen Ward is a mad genius!!! XD.
