I've already started to make up a list. It's been a lot of fun so far! But if you have any suggestions or just have a duo that you don't want to be left out anyone could send me a PM. There are a fair amount of shows I haven't seen and I want to make sure that the tournament will be fun for all.

It'd probably be easier just to post you list when you're done and have people make suggestions.

^Yeah, that's pretty much what Gyt Kaliba and I have been doing.
I'm waiting responses from Dachou and LuckySeven to see where they stand with their own tournaments. Unfortunately we don't have time for every single one, so I'm willing to take a break from the Amazons of Anime event this year if it comes down to that.
Just curious but what is wrong with running tourneys simultaneously? It would certainly help me to rid myself of this "beck Roadie" tag, in which I have much disdain

Basically, if we had two running at a time, it'd make it really hard to find all the right matches, since only so many show up on the front page at once. And anything past that first page is likely to get forgotten.
Not only that, but with how this forum lags sometimes and drops off at others...yeah. It's just best for everyone concerned if we only have one tournament going at a time. ^_^;
Now, standard other little 'poll' type things, that's just one thread and done, those are fine to be posted while a tournament is going on. Bear in mind however, when posting one of those, that it's highly likely to get lost in the shuffle of a tournament as well.
Just got word from Dachou that he has a planned second Anime Series Tournament starting on January 11th. Is waiting until March okay with you rosebrook? I just don't want you to have to wait so long that you don't feel like running your tournament anymore.
While I am still not 100% sure about whether I am going to do it or not. I want to reserve a spot for the 2013 Best Anime Villains Tournament. I was hoping for March, but if someone else has it, I can wait. Don't consider this a complete confirmation just yet. I'm just getting my foot in the door while its on my mind.
May-June is looking more likely to hold that Villains Tournament, LuckySeven. Also, with all due repsect to Dachou, we may have to do without the A.S.T. next year. While the Villains Tournament should happen every year as a major tournament, we have these three other events that can't happen every year.
That's why I held off on the Amazons of Anime this year - which had run for two straight already - since rosebrook had something new she wanted to start.
