Sure, a single poll type thing would be perfectly fine. Though the 'poll' option still hasn't been implemented, so you'd have to just post the choices and people would have to post back - though that's almost not a bad thing, as you'd potentially get wordier responses.
Just do so knowing that it might get buried under the tournament threads. But yeah, a single thread type thing would be perfectly fine with everyone I'd imagine.
Adam said he's no longer interested in doing his all moe tourney, so we don't have any upcoming in the near future. I think that's a good thing actually, we could use a little break after non-stop tournaments dating back to last June. I'm still unsure if I want to have another Amazons of Anime tournament this summer, but if I do, I'm going to let everyone else choose who our warriors will be.
Yeah, a rest could be a good thing, and it would give people more option to do short polls (well as much of one as we can do without an actual poll system anyway...) without it getting buried by a tournament. I was just wondering what had happened with the other ones we had in the works.

Actually, I guess while the floor is open, I should put forward the vague date for my next VA tournament - I'm thinking July/August-ish. A fair few months to go yet but I figured I'd better get it out there.
Alright, I'm looking ahead at the schedule and I think that July would be best for the VA tournament. I'm going to plan a Suggestion Thread for my Amazons of Anime starting in May. I'll find a way to fit the whole thing into the month of June, so that way you can go ahead after me like last year.
But before I make my own event official, I'm going to hold off because Sophie mentioned a big site update coming. I don't want to have to experience major interruptions in the middle of it, ya know? So I'm going to wait until it does happen, or at least until we get word of when it happens. Until then, I think we're all settled.
All right that sounds good to me. Getting things together should be a little easier this time, cuz I should still have that full list of VA's from last year (though I'm likely downsizing the contestant number this year), so running it in July should be no problem at all.
And yeah, that may be best. Heck, maybe we'll get lucky and we're finally getting polls? Granted, people actually having to post to vote has been a nice thing, but an actual polling system with votes would be a lot easier to count.
