With the poll you could have a humongous leap in votes which is kinda suspicous and all that
but since to vote you have to post its easier and easier to find out if someone is cheating

Just a heads up guys, I have decided that my tourney WILL be happening in the next few days after all - barring one thing. I was looking at the roster of tournaments in this thread, and it looks like most before me decided not to do them, but one more was still listed first - AdamEdnless's 'All Moe' tournament. So I'm gonna drop him a PM as well as posting here, seeing if he was still wanting to do his, if he's ready and I should wait or if I should go on, etc.
I wouldn't mind taking over one if it was an issue. Just would need to know which one and what it entails. Just trying to help ofcourse!

That is true. But if is the difference between not doing it at all and doing it for the ones who enjoy it. I would think that people would like to see them happen even with difficulties than not at all. No knowing how long it will take for the site to get thoroughly straightened out. Not trying to start a problem, just offering to help out that is all.
I agree with Shadow - even with such challenges it's still a lot more fun to have these then not bothering at all. That being said, the biggest challenge would be to set up the big annual Best Anime Character Tournament. Kevin from the old forums has left, and until those forums are set up into archival mode, we won't be able to see the Master List - and who knows when that might be.
So while Gyt has his tournament underway, I'm volunteering to create a new Master List. I'll try my best to match the 1280 that we had last year, but because of certain circumstances, the format may be different. I'm starting now, to spread the workload across the next month or so. That is, if no one else has a problem with it
And Shadow, since you offered to help I may ask you for some. I'm not too familiar with many shows, there will likely be some important "supporting" characters that I'll miss.

I mentioned that to Adam Shehan at ACEN and he said he would follow up with Sophie. I guess we will see.

I do know what you mean, and that's why Erza's comeback against Rukia couldn't have fallen under suspicion (check the time of the last few votes.)
