I'm laughing internally right now that Ren and Sho are in the same match. I don't even care... It's just that perfect/funny. I'm curious about how many votes Integra got. I kind of figured that Motoko would win...
Yup, that's the list randomizer for ya! Also, Integra received a total of 5 votes, and was the only one threatening Motoko.

Geeze, I really was the only one who voted for her lol No love for the cute little kid huh?
I liked her too, but it’s kind of hard analyzing really young characters as, well, characters. For Ushio though, I think being Nagisa’s daughter kinda helps her cause more than anything else.
We’re getting closer to the end of Round 1! Just one slightly smaller batch of matches these next two days, followed by one day of tiebreakers, and we’ll finally move on to the next round. Here are the latest winners:
I’d like to borrow the crystal ball that Renzokuken and rosebrook have been using, because they’ve been the most efficient with their extra votes. This time, they teamed up and gave Ahiru (should I just call her Duck from now on?) the victory over Onsokumaru by one vote.
Re: 2012 Best Anime Character Tournament Discussion Thread
I have an unhealthy obsession with Princess Tutu and my friends and I assigned Tutu characters to each other in terms of our personality and I was Duck.
Well of course the only Bleach character I didn't vote for last round ended up being the only one who won. (Poor Kisuke, Gin and Renji)
I'm actually really happy that Mugen ended up wining his round even though I didn't vote for him. I thought that Zoro was going to take that one with ease. I'm happy with most of the matches cause even if a person I didn't vote for won, I still really like the characters.

It's simply a matter of weighing any given character's likelihood of winning versus the likelihood of the character I like in that same group. This gives an overall higher chance for more of my picks to make it to the next round, instead of having just one character with 10+ votes. In this case, I would actually vote for C.C. and Celty over Duck, but Code Geass and DRRR are relatively mainstream so I figured they were fairly safe by themselves. In this case I was actually wrong and should've given my extra to Celty.
But I'm fine with Duck. Princess Tutu is my 14th Favorite anime.

Ushio finished with 2. It looks like Nagisa will be the only CLANNAD character moving on.
