Re: 2012 Best Anime Character Tournament Discussion Thread
So I just found out something pretty interesting. If you delete your browsing history, you can reopen the survey and vote again. I wonder if people should start posting their votes on here, to see what characters people voted for. I think it's a little strange that there's more votes in the survey and less extra votes. I don't know if people are just lazy or they just forget to do it. Plus we don't know if there's non funi members voting. You don't have to log on to the site to look at the forums.

I think one reason why there are more votes in the survey is because of the problems with the Funimation's website. For the second set of matches I was able to vote in the survey but I was unable to post my extra vote in the forums. Even after several attempts of trying to log on to the site I was still unsuccessful so I just gave up and never ended up posting my extra vote.

If I see any suspicious trends in the results, then I'll figure something out. Besides, there have been "incidents" on the old forums before, where some people would create a new account just to vote again when the website had its own user polls.
Also, it is true that non-members can vote - but that's only because we have so many characters in the first few rounds. They don't have to post for now, but when we get to the bracket, I'm going back to the regular way of posting votes.
Re: 2012 Best Anime Character Tournament Discussion Thread
Ok cool, I just wanted you guys to be aware on what might be going on. I just don't want to see bizarre results where characters got like over 50 votes so early in this tournament.
Re: 2012 Best Anime Character Tournament Discussion Thread
Alright first of all, going back over to the previous ten matches, I made a HUGE error when looking over the stats. Maes Hughes had won with 8 votes, not Roy Revant. I knew that seemed odd…I guess I need to stop skimming lol
Next 10 winners are in, and I have to say a few of our members sure know how to hand out those extra votes (you’ll know who you are):

Hey! Like half of them pulled through for me! That was a good one. This upcoming match looks to be as well.

Yeah, I almost didn't give an extra vote the last two matches because the site has been bugging me the last few days.
Re: 2012 Best Anime Character Tournament Discussion Thread
Oh boy, this round was much better to me than the first two, more than half of my choices moved on. Look at that, both Archer and Rider move on, I just hope they don't end up facing off against each other at some point, that'll be an extremely hard one for me.

Archer - 7
Lupin III - 5
Tsume - 7
Haruko Haruhara - 12
Zelgadis - 10
Rider - 5
Nausicaä - 6
Lucy Heartfilia - 8
Akira Takizawa - 5
Jesse - 5
Phew, Lupin made it through after all. I was really worried about not giving him my extra vote.
That said though, d'oh! Two I"s characters down in one blow. My heart!
I"s: Reaching for a Dream - The Fandom Writer - My Collection
Want your work listed on 'Fandom Writer'? Let me know.
"There are two kinds of folks who sit around thinking about how to kill people. Psychopaths, and mystery writers. I'm the kind that pays better."
These results have pleased me greatly. Hooray for Akira!
And since Jet Black lost I'm glad he at least lost to Lucy because I really like her as a character.

Fu-chan Starfish Powers Activate!!!
Nice mixed results and finally some characters I voted for made it through.
