So now that we have a new shiny manga section, I am going to make this thread for people to ask for, and recommend manga titles to their fellow forum goers.
Enjoy.

Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service- a great mix of horror and humor. I would love to see this turned into an anime. There is a live action movie in the works, though.

Aside from the normal stuff that people read like Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, and all the other heavy hitters, I'd like to recommend Ultimo and Claymore. Ultimo is a fantastic manga that has been in Shonen Jump and currently has a few volumes on store shelves, Claymore is an amazing piece of work that has a popular anime that is beloved by many fans, the manga is simply phenomenal. Check them out!

Taking this opportunity to plug my favorite manga: Mahou Sensei Negima.
10-year-old prodigy Negi Springfield trains to be a wizard in order to find his father, a legendary wizard known as the Thousand Master, who mysteriously disappeared when Negi was a child. As part of his training Negi is tasked with teaching English at the all-girls Mahora Academy, with the stipulation that his wizardry is to remain a secret. Negi finds out just how difficult that will be when he discovers that not every girl in his class is quite what they seem to be...
Don't forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you.
As long as you remember Her, you are not alone.
I second the recomendation for Mahou Sensei Negima! If your not into fanservice that much then you have to muscle your way past the first two volumes but after that the story really picks up and things start to get intersting.
Otherwise I guess it would depend on what your into for recomendations but here are few from my collection that I would recomend.
Nightmare Inspector- Sort of a gothic fantasy. When people are plagued by Nigtmares form there troubled pasts or tortured souls they come to the Silver Star Tea House to see Hiruko the Baku. A creature who lives by eating the nightmares of his customers. Really good if your into psychological stuff, somewhat dark but not all the time. No real "story" per se until the last two volumes. 9 volumes long Viz Media
Kieli- Also a light Novel Series. About a young girl Kieli who has the power to see ghosts and spirits. One day she meets Harvey a strange man in the town where she lives, upon investigating she discovers that he is an undying, an immortal soldier made to fight in a war long ago. So Kieli tags along with Harvey on a journey to lay the spirit of a Corpral who died in the war to rest. Short series only 2 volumes but sets up the stage for the light novels. The events in the manga are book 1 of the Series.
Higurashi When they Cry- My second favorite series. If you havent seen or heard of the Anime version its pretty much this, Keichi Maebara moves form the city to the quite little town of Hinamizawa. While adjusting to his new life he discovers that the town and its residnets are not quite what they seem to be. Honestly I feel like I cant do an honest review or recomendation of this series because I'm to biased torwards it, but I do encourage people to give it a try.
Theres a fine line between insanity and visionary unfortunatley you have to be a visionary to see it.
Fantasy is not a crime, go find your Castle in the Sky.
I really love Black Bird and think it would make a fantastic anime
Sincerely, Siren
Black Cat is one sereis I recomend. Especily if you have seen the anime.
I reject your reality and replace it with my own.
Historie is a must read for people who likes History Genre Mangas.
hitsuzenxiii's recommendation of Higurashi gets a bit second from me! I'd highly recommend it to any fan of suspense, mystery, horror or drama manga. Personally, I think the manga version blows the anime version away. (Plus Yen Press is releasing a side-story series and has already put out one of the manga-only arcs, Beyond Midnight.)
Another one any fan of the anime Funi released should get is Spiral: The Bonds of Reasoning. The last volume is out now or will be very soon so you can finally learn all the secrets of the Blade Children! This is high-tension, thought-provoking series with a cast of memorable characters.
For those who want to take a break from suspense:
Bunny Drop: If you want a great slice-of-life family-oriented series, this is the one. It's about a man named Daikichi who takes in a little girl named Rin who is his grandfather's illegitimate child. It's a touching and often funny story about a man becoming a father and what it means to be a parent and a family. It's fantastic.
English dubs rule! Spread the love, raise the profit, get more anime.

Looking for any really good shonen or seinen romance manga, I don't mind what other genre it is as long is there is a good deal of romance. Also I highly prefer if the manga is completed scanalated or translated into English already because I hate waiting to finish something after I have already started.
Heres a list of what I have read if that helps any:

Remember, shonen or seinen only. Lots of times when I ask this people recommend me shojo or josei anyways.
SoundMonkey44's list of "MANGA EVERYOEN SHOULD READ & WHY" (A begginers guide to Awesome Manga series.)
Well theres alot of Manga out there, but theres afew that you would just have to be crazy to pass up the change to read, I would reccomend to everyone to check out the following series.
1. Naussica of the vally of the Wind: Drawn & Written by acclaimed storyteller Hayao Miyazaki. Naussica is arguable a modern epic, in the same way the oddessy & illiad of old were. A story of a young girl trying to save a polluted planet, and the humans that strive to survive between wars, an ever expanding toxic jungle, and variaties of Giant insects. Naussica is truly a classic and should be read by all fans of comics & manga young and old.
2. Tezuka's works: Astroboy, Black Jack, Cybory 009, Pheonix, any will do, Tezuka was one of the earliest anime/manga writers in Japan, a person's whom's legacy and works should never be forgoten.
3. Dr. Slump: Akira Toriyama's 1st Manga serial, often gets overlooked by its more popular younger sister, the Dragonball franchise, which is rather sad, Dr. Slump is a fun little comedy manga that really needs more love in the U.S.
4. Case Closed: Gosho Aoyama's Shonen Sunday classic has been a hit in Japan for near 2 decades now, and has become a cult-hit in other countries. This is one Manga serial that like slump, and many other classics, needs more respect in the states.
5. Slam Dunk. Takehiko Inoue's famous sports series follows the misadventures of Hanamichi Sakuragi as he aims to master the sport of Basketball and impress the girl of his dreams. A simple yet well wriiten and entertaining manga.
and those would be my pics for Manga reccomindations everyone should read. theres plenty of other fun, bigger series out there (Bleach, Naruto, etc) that are good reads as well, but don't forget the classics.
