So when you have a series and you watch an anime and read a manga which do you enjoy better.
For me it depends on the series some are better as anime and some manga. Though the good thing about anime is that you can see the fight scenes actually move because sometimes in manga you dont have any idea what someone just did in a fight

I love both very much but I have to agree with you, I mean sometimes a series is better as a manga and sometimes it's better as a anime. I feel the SGT,Frog it better as a manga.
You cannot out run darkness, only accept it.
I will let no one stand in my way.
My style is my soul.
It depends on the series as I think some series come across a lot better when made in an anime and there are of course some that come across a lot better as an anime. Overall however I'd say I'm more inclined to go with manga which has a more vibrant art style and usually gets the story across in a much more detailed manner.
It depends on the series, but usually i prefer reading the manga over watching the anime.
I typically prefer the manga over the anime when it comes to background stories of the characters and the length of the stories.
I go for the anime for the action scenes and the opening songs XD
I'm a big anime guy myself.
I'll always read the manga if there is one, but I personally prefer anime as far as Japanese story mediums go.
Although I started as a strict Anime fan, I have come to embrace Manga. It can be better, worse, or sometimes it enhances the understanding of the Anime.
I found the Black Cat manga told the story better than the Anime. Fullmetal Alchemist is better than the first anime, but the second is closer to the manga.
Gunslinger Girl is as good as the Anime, but it does help the story flow better and make some of the underlying character development clearer. Though the action sequences are made for Anime.
Like FMA and Claymore, sometimes the manga goes on beyond the series and can take on new dimensions.
I do like the Soul Eater Anime better. The flow of the story just goes better than reading the manga. It's not bad, just slower. Monster also views better than it reads, but you have to pretty much view it online.
So I think it just depends on the series.
It depends. There are some I like both, Others either the manga or Anime. It just depends.
I reject your reality and replace it with my own.
ah I just voided the question!

Manga typically has a more consistent quality standard, especially when compared to ongoing anime like Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, etc. Some episodes will suffer from a poor budget while others are treated to beautiful, expensive art work with thrilling battle sequences. With a weekly manga publication, you can expect the same quality of work from issue to issue. It's much easier to perfect 20 pages worth of still, black and white pictures than it is a fully colored episode with 25,000+ frames every week. Of course, manga also tends to have better pacing when not delayed and prolonged by filler material.
Though I usually tend to enjoy them both equally, if I had to choose I would go with anime. Anime, even the so-so adaptations, just tend to have more "replay value". Even if a particular manga has much better artwork, I find myself rewatching anime episodes more often than going back to reread old manga issues. It's just not as exciting to go back and read or re-read something when you've already seen it animated. When I read manga, I'm usually enjoying it for the first time.
With anime, you can enjoy the battle sequences(b/c most of my shows involve action, lol) in fluid animation with (usually good) acting in Japanese or your native language, and the music usually has something to offer, with some franchises even being eternalized by their scores much the same way movies like Star Wars and Indianna Jones have been. It does depend on the series though. If I wanted to enjoy a complete Death Note story, I would read the manga. And with a dated, innaccurate, and derailed Rurouni Kenshin anime I will go with the books any day.
For me it depends completely on the series. Like how the Claymore and Elfen Lied anime's are indeed fantastic, the manga versions are still superior. That's just an example, but those who read and watched both adaptions of each of these two series can see where I'm getting at.
