Cant really say that there will be more after this at this point there is little left to build off of. Then again until I see how it ends I can only draw up conclusions based on the information given.
I really hope it's just temporary, I'm looking foward to reading the actual Manga, just recently viewed the Animated series and I was blown away, most anime I really can't get into it's too goofy/weird, but this was soo dark and serious and touched a lot of emotions, the artwork seems amazing. I really hope the Artist knows how much people apreciate his work. Anyone know of a fansite mailing address for the artist?
Since this thread got resurrected. I've been keeping up with the release and I can confirm that it was just a false alarm. Chapters 127 (June) and 128 (July) released out on time as usual.
It appears that an editor just goofed up on the last panel of chapter 126. Either that or Yagi was playing his usual tricks again. He likes teasing his fans.
So, its still ongoing. As for Negima!, Ken said he is wishes to continue it at a later date to tie off all of its loose ends that existed from its ending. Hopefully once the manga continues again, the current 36 volumes can be adapted in the form of an OVA & movie series a la Hellsing Ultimate and Berserk Golden Age movies with a new cast (preferably Madhouse), with each OVA covering a whole volume.
I'm only on volume 13 of the series but I'd rather see it continued then have an abrupt ending. I actually saw this thread awhile ago and was debating dropping the series if it was just going to suddenly end sending me into a rage and table flipping everything in IKEA. (what ?I can't afford manga and furniture so I just hang out there)
Looking forward to see how the story advances and get to the point that caused this rumor.
I remember hearing this news earlier this year. On Wikipedia at the time it said that the last issue was going to be Volume 21 released in the USA in November. I have read this issue and it in no way comes to an ending, however it does seem like it could be close to an ending point though in another volume or two. Now in Wikipedia it doesn't say anything about it ending or a last issue and just mentions that 21 volumes have been released. So let's hope that means something has changed and we'll be seeing more. Ending where it did in 21 would just be leaving fans with a cruel case of manga blue ballz.
The first posting has a link to the article which states Volume 22 of the Manga was to be released on June 4th. So there is at least one more volume. Reading the article it sounds like they are no longer running it in Jump Square magazine. I'm assuming it comes out in the magazine first and then release in its own Manga book later so I do not know if Volume 22 is the last or if their might be another volumes. Sorry can't be of more help my whole manga/anime knowledge is very small.

Just ignore the article. It was a false alarm. It was most likely an editor goof up or Norihiro Yagi was just playing a joke on his fans.
The manga is still being serialized in Jump Square with a new chapter releasing out monthly. The latest chapter (133) released out earlier this month.

Yeah I saw something on that when I was reading this discussion on Anime New Network. Although I didn't see it confirmed, although I didn't actually try to confirm it myself either seeing I was at work at the time. I didn't mention it because of that just in case it was wrong. There was also something about a French statement saying it was still going and then there comments on that one saying it was wrong.
But it sounds like it is still going and I'll keep buying the series for awhile. (The other discussion made it sound like the manga started to go down hill. Of course that is all a matter of opinion which I'll make for myself as I go along. Too far in the series to just drop it. Although if it getting worse then I'd rather just see an end then it keep going.)

FWIW, I've been keeping up with the serialization and the recent chapters have been really good.
