So I was looking at bayoab's live feed of the Funimation industry panel, and during the Q&A session this came up:
Quote:
16:47:01 Q: Negima OADs?
16:47:19 A: Right now, we're aware of them, but they are on one of the could pick up lists...
I guess this can be taken as a good sign that they could get picked up here. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Please get this dubbed, FUNi! We wanna see this in English instead of relying on Fansubs!

Good news for you guys, let's hope for the best.
The OAD's, though not perfect, are certainly way superior to the two TV series.

Yeah. I know they made cuts on them and skipped over some chapters, but I would totally watch them for the eye candy and the fact that they mostly do follow the manga if not perfectly. Even if the upcoming movie can't cover much I will still watch it if it's licensed.
Man, it would be awesome if they did release the OADs over here. I'd like to support the industry from a non-fansub way. If there's a market, chances are they'll be more likely to go for the license. Here's to hopin'!
Just another crazy anime fan...same old same old.
I just checked October's solicits for Funimation at Rightstuf, and one listing showed the complete collection for Negima!? having a S.A.V.E. release. Because the S.A.V.E. line is usually for titles that didn't do well, I'm kind of worried because this may affect whether or not we get the OADs. I know that the first Negima anime had a Viridian release which was similar to the S.A.V.E. line, but originally I had thought that Negima!? was going to have a release on the Classic Line since it was listed on the website. Hopefully this is not a sign of anything bad.

This to me sounds like they aren't really interested in getting them at all... and considering how poorly Negima!? sold, I tend to think it's not high on their priority list sadly. Now, unless they're planning on including them in the Classic Line at some point with the REST of Negima, that may be possible, but I tend to doubt it.
We don't know how Negima!? sold. The SAVE line doesn't often mean poor sales.
