It could have been ended on more of a cliff hanger.

Imagine if it ended as the demon was being summoned. Leaving us wondering if they where ever able to defeat it or not.
The ending was about as open ended as a lot of other anime. The possibility of a second season yet not so open ended that you are like "wait what?"
I'd like to see a second season, although I don't see that happening. Then again I had enough closure at the end that I'm not going to be too upset about it.
Yeah' fumuoffu'. I,'ve watched about 8 eps and find that kaze was boring and unexciting however from reading the reviews, the following eps get beter and better so I am going to try and finish it...I likr kazumo but find tamaka or whatever her name, to be completely annoying...I felt like I wanted to hit her a few times lol...anyways thanks for the update on Kaze No Stigma

It does pick up more as the season goes on. I do suggest finishing it just on the fact that Kazuma isn't you typical lead male. Not whining about his past, not weird around girls, pretty much a BA and doesn't make excuses about it.
HIs brother is pretty annoying although I want to say he gets better as the season goes on. The girl doesn't really change if I remember right.
