This series was very interesting. I liked the premise of a family being able to control fire, while one of that family couldn't, and he found a way to live his life. It was a good series.
Ya it was certainly a great series. It would have been great to see more but that happening is pretty much remote due to the writer of the novels dying.
I have yet to watch this, but is has had my attention for quite some time. Though it's sad how this series is forever incomplete as the creator of the light novels died a few years ago.
Its kind of say knowing this series was over; not knowing how far it was going to fly. Wow complete series "not", this had 2 to 3 more book at least total 50 ep to finish. like his ex girl who was that last girl to him and more back story. Its sad the lead writer past away. I feel rob of something truly great. I mean what little rapped up they gave was not enough. the culture of this anime was huge.
I agree that it would have been great to see more of Kaze no Stigma, but I thought the ending wasn't bad. Since it was a series made up of short mini-arcs, it wasn't as upsetting to have it incomplete as it would have been if there were one major plot tying it all together, you know?
I wonder if anyone will pick up this up and finish it no that the writer is dead. Of course I know it wouldn't be as good as it would of been if the original writer finished it. Honestly, As long as the new writer, if there will be one, doesn't mess up the series in any way, I would love it.
I thought Kaze no Stigma was a good series, it's rare that an action anime will actually have a like-able romantic side, I think I may have teared up a bit on the Confessions under the Moonlight, poor Ren. Although more could have been put into the budding realtionship between Ayano and Kazuma, but then again it was an incomplete series. I have to admit Ayano's reactions to Kazuma's advances were hilarious and cute. But besides the mushy-gushy stuff, the action was good and the story scenarios seemed pretty good to me. I recommend this anime to just about anyone, because it isn't really heavy in any particular genre
