Hello, SoundMonkey44 here, one of your many faithful Funi Forum Mods! You know part of keeping a forum nice, fun & tidy is making sure people Obey the rules, you've all read the FAQ/Rules for the forums right!? If not you should!
Well other then that, I know this may sound a bit vain/pompus of me, but I have afew requests of you newbies to consider before trying to start a new thread, such as
1. Please Browse around and make sure your not duplicating!: I know the forums can be pretty slow a times, but please browse the various sections & sub-forums before creating your own topic, we don't need duplicate/spam posts/thread
2. Make sure its in the proper section! If you have a question for Funimation you can ask it in the Funi General section of the forums, if its about the Website or an App thats what Tech Support is for! If you just have a general vague anime related question, you can ask that question in the pre-exsisting anime questions thread stickied at the top of the ANIME section of the forums. If you have a question for a particular title, you can ask that in set series sub-forum. The same goes for anime recommendations, there is already a pre-assigned thread for members to go to and suggest titles for Funimation to pick up.
And of course
3. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!: Please try doing some research before making an inquiry, the internet is a wonderful source of information *not just a place to browse for Hentai Doujins people! XD* Many times the answer you seek can be found with a quick google search or a visit to ANN.
Also it doesn't hurt to try to keep up with what licenser in the U.S. has what show. For example, its pointless to ask Funimation to stream episodes of Bleach or Naruto, because VIZ Media is in charge of those in the states, just like Sentai Filmworks is in charge of Highschool Of The Dead, Angel Beats, etc. So yeah its a good idea to browse all the U.S. licensers sites and see who has what, and what has yet to be picked up by anyone!
And finally, the MOST IMPORTANT thing to remember...
FUNIMATION DOES NOT MAKE ANIME! THEY JUST DUB IT!!! So yes asking Funimation to make more seasons of your favorite show, really doesn't do any good. Sure Funi may dabble in co-productions for DTV movies from time to time, but they don't really make anime themselves, they just acquire it from the studios in Japan and dub it int english for all us North American fans to enjoy!
So yeah, just a few pointers from a stuffy old Mod to you noobs/newbies! Please consider what I have said here and I am sure your experience at Funimation forums will be a pleasant and rewarding one!

You seem like a pretty cool dude soundmonkey, and I respect your rules. I am a newbie, at least in terms of posting stuff in a forum so I may make a few mistakes now and then, but for the most part there will be no trouble from me. Btw, how did you become a moderator?
Sometimes I pretend to be normal, but then it gets boring so I go back to being me:P
