I love all four of the Ikki Tousen Series i still can't figure out why funi didn't get the Dragon Destiny & Great Guardians series wonder if they will get Xetreme Xecutor.
The only down side to the 2 ikki tousen series that Media Blasters licensed is that they never dubbed the OVA's you dub the whole series but leave out the ova's just can't understand why they would do that you have the VA's so why not.
I'm watching through the first series right now.
I'm liking it but I wish they'd get more into the background of characters like Kakuka and the other main fighters from the different schools.
Currently watching: Berserk, Fairy Tail, Bleach, Naruto Shippuden, One Piece, Ghost in the Shell, Yugioh: Zexal, Yugioh GX, Gun X Sword
Currently playing: Final Fantasy IX
They get in to the background of characters over the four series.
Guess I'll have to watch the other series then.
Although it sucks that the other series' have different dub casts.

I just purchased Great Guardians and hope Funimation dubs Xetreme Xecutor soon and reunites their cast from Dragon of Destiny
Media Blasters plans to announce a "big title" soon. Knowing them it's probably a breast-seller so it could be Xtreme Xecutor or even Seikon no Qwaser.
I prefer most of the voices from the Geneon dub cast so if Funimation did license XX it'd be nice if they got the VAs back again (if not at the very least Carrie Savage could voice Hakufu again).
As for the series, to be honest the first time I watched Battle Vixens (first fanservice title I ever watched btw) I had no idea what the heck was going on.
For a fanservice so it sure had a confusing plot and I couldn't bother remember most names of the characters.
After rewatching it things became more clear.
The idea of reincarnated fighters from the era of the Three Kingdoms is sort of interesting.
Still I bet those warriors are rolling in their graves.
"Damn! A whole generation is going to remember me an overdeveloped high school girl!"

It was announced a while ago but there's going to be a new OVA.
So unless Media Blasters plans to pursue that as well in addition to Xtreme Xecutor, both are up for grabs.
Bit surprised Battle Vixens became a S.A.V.E. release but I guess most fans bought the original singles or box sets from Geneon.
I heard it sold well for Funimation on digital outlets but I guess it didn't sell enough physical copies to become an "Anime Classic".
This franchise will probably never end.

Well... IF Funi somehow does get the rest of Ikki from Media Blasters, I think they would dub them. Everything else they get seems to get dubbed unless they have explicit instructions NOT to. The OVA's especially... but then again... who knows?
