I'm a fan of this series and I've noticed that some shows that were streaming before, during, and after this one was simulcasting have gotten physical releases at retail or announcements of one.
What's the over-under on this one coming out on disc from Funi? I said "Sophie = Welcome" because I'd like a brutally honest like the WTK discussion, for better or for worse. Is this show still in the pipeline or does fan demand and research metrics say that this one won't be coming out barring some sort of miracle level increase in popularity?

If you don't mind me adding, I too would like to know what's going on with not only House of Five Leaves but also The Tatami Galaxy. Almost all of the later noitaminA simulcasts have been licensed, with the exception of the live-action Moyashimon series, yet still nothing on these two.
I've been wanting very much for these two shows to be licensed ever since they were simulcasted. As time goes on, it's seeming less and less likely that's going to happen.
I think Tatami Galaxy is coming. They mentioned it during the noiT panel at AX along with other noiT shows that have either had a physical release or got one announced. They didn't explicitly say that Tatami is coming, but being mentioned in the same league as those that did make it to a physical release makes me think that there it has a very strong chance.
Five Leaves wasn't as lucky though. It was a Mission Impossible situation where they didn't even acknowledge its existence.
I agree with Sick Vizions & Chrono, I too would highly enjoy seeing Five Leaves & Tatami on DVD/BD. The fact they havent been confirmed for a physical relese yet is rather dissapointing.
(but then again I guess kids these days would rather have ecchi & genaric action over well written & artsy....sad aint it. *starts ranting & raving like an old man*)
But yeah, if your listening funimation, please give these shows physical releases sometime in 2012. I mean the other Noitamina stuff is getting released, why not give us the whole kit n kaboodle. (not to sound greedy or anything, but yeah, I love the noitamina shows..some of the best stuff you guys have impo.)
LET ME PLAY FOR YOU, THE SONG OF MY PEOPLE!!!
It would be quite wonderful if this was released on disc, and another one of Ono-sensei's works that's been made into an anime, Ristorante Paradiso was even acknowledged/licensed.
I understand that they're going to release what's going to sell, but it doesn't make it any less frustrating.
