figured id ask i seen some posts saying late last year i have read all the light novels and cant wait to buy the blu ray i am not a fan of dubs at all so i hope they will include a sub version and anyone who has yet to check out the novels they are amazing
Funi always put both a Dub and sub track on their release. Sub only sets usually come from just Sentai/Section23 and AoAand a few other.
So at first I was like "Oh god, the TextWalls. Why did it have to be TextWalls?" because while I do like a good TextWall myself, it's not too useful when catching up on a thread.
And then I was like "... Are these people... putting down DxD? S... seriously?" and then around the third page started noticing what I thought was the 'date posted' which was actually the 'Date joined', which I found out half a page later and wanted to rage again, then saw that the first posts were from when it actually was just coming out. At which point I was confused as to whether I should violently defend the show or reveal that one could have just read the LightNovels for a preview of what the shows would be like.
But now I've reached it. The final page, by which point apparently things have slowed to a trickle in the Debate What Funimation Was Thinking area. And I must ask.
Is there... any particular reason that Funi's only up to episode 8? I mean, saw on a different topic that Season 2's been greenlit and watched the first season elsewhere about a year ago now. Just asking. Y'know, if anybody knows, since I'm pretty new here and wouldn't know at this point.
Season 2 was announced in Japan recently it'll come out later this year, as for when it'll come to stateside or to Funi's stream, that all depends on when/if Funimation picks it up.

I'm personally hoping for a simulcast like with the first season.
