i would totally be FrUK because i love the whole FACE familiy thing. but there is so much USUK fanart out there that if i got into that midset i would wind up scarring myself for life over and over again.
Eh...my otp is usuk but I can look at fruk without getting sick. I just don't like it when fans fight over pairings. I like usuk because of the Special Relationship and all that, I also like it because I think England needs somebody energetic like America, and its really cute. And the unnecessary fruk moment in paint it white was also a bit annoying. Remember, himapapa would never make a couple canon. Just think about how angry the fans would get! And I honestly don't care what studio deen says is canon I follow hima. But when I see very annoying posts hating on another pairing and anti-groups. It pisses me off. Usuk and fruk are both very popular pairings and I really wish I could like a pairing in this fandom without having to see hateposts,art,groups, on it. ;-; . But I do want to say something. Usuk is not incest. American is but I respect that pairing too I guess . I respect all pairings but usuk just so happens to be my fav. It made me like yaoi XDDD
I am and have always been a devout FrUk fan. I absolutely ADORE this pairing, mainly because it can be approached from so many different angles and these two are still great together. You can go fluffy (FACE family), historical - hello, France and England have been flowersing (with) each other since the beginning of time - pirate , Gakuen AU; the list goes on and on. It's not the incest part that bothers me about UsUk. I love UsCan dearly too. It's just, I've never really been able to appreciate whatever it is people think England and America have. They're not passionate like France and England, and I don't really find them all that cute. OR angsty. France and England will always be better for each other, in my mind at least.
Am I the only one that noticed that on this forum, most of the UsUk fangirls just explain themselves with "flowers yeah USUK" or the like, while FrUk shippers actually discuss the two pairings? Maybe it's just me, and believe me, I DON'T want to start a war here. Just an observation.
I like FrUk I'm all for the whole F.A.C.E family. I also view France and England as the older brothers/parents to America and Canada. I don't support UsUk because to me that is incest I mean England took care and raised America as his little brother so i vote for FrUk because I love love/hate relationships and they have known each other for years/centuries.
I would say I prefer FRUK over USUK. I do not have any problem with people who ship USUK I just find that FRUK makes more sense. I mean they have spent their whole lives together, Even though they fight whenever someone stands against them both they help each other out and defend each other, France cared for England when he was sick, Historicly it makes more sense, And do not even get me started about the sexual tension in their relationship. One thing I also do not understand about USUK is I doubt you would start dating the person who raised you. I kinda like England as more of a Father.. no scratch that... Mother figure to America ( because I also love the F.A.C.E. family ) To me USUK is a tad bit over rated. I really hope Himaruya will make FRUK canon in the next manga volume I will be so happy <3 I do not mean to start a shipping war or anything but FRUK is just a beautiful pairing. <3
FrUK. I honestly find USUK a little off-putting and awkward, seeing as I tend to see the two as relatives more than I do with frUK. (Example, brothers, or America as England's 'son')
FrUK, on the other hand, seems more like a relationship to me and leads to my favorite combination of Hetalia characters; the F.A.C.E family. Not to mention that it connects better and that the two of them often treat each other as, at the very least, ex-lovers (with a bit of feeling still there). (Heck, maybe even a somewhat dysfunctional married couple)

I prefer FrUK but I don't dislike usuk. I tend to lean towards pairings that fight because they reminds me of Pride and Prejudice. XD
