Can someone tell me why Kouta Hirano decided not to include Crossfire into the OVA? Sure its not directly tied to the Hellsing series, but I thought it was still really cool. It had a lot of the elements of Black Lagoon, another anime I truly love. Feel free to share your idea's.

Hellsing Crossfire
Too many differences from the Hellsing canon. And from what I remember, the leader of Iscariot was a prototype for Integra in Hellsing.
Here's an idea for a version of Crossfire that is a part of the OVA. It should be like the original Crossfire manga except that the characters look like their counterparts from the main series. For example, Maxwell should have his silver ponytail hairdo with no glasses, and dress like his main series counterpart as well. So, in animated Crossfire, Maxwell would look like this:
