Hellsing Ultimate will be released 10/16/12 at retail price of $59.98, according to an ad in Right Stuf Catalog: 2012 Issue #2 (page 35).
It is currently not known what volumes will be in the collection.

about time we get something, now all we need is an official announcement via this, the official "Hellsing" site!
Its about damn time. I doubt we are going to get more than probably the first and second OVA's by the end of this year. Don't get your hopes up too high guys, but it certainly is good to see the ball finally rolling this way.
Is this confirmed for the UK aswell?
I wonder if 5-7 will be out. It says that starting this month, elite subscribers for funimation will be able to stream Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate. Since that appeared, I wondered if they have 5-7 done yet.

That would be to up the companies in the UK.
Does anyone know that Hellsing Ultimate episode 1-5 that Funimation is going to release will be the old, Geneon version made by Satelight OR the new, remastered version (technically it is the same, the only exception that the graphics have been noticeably enhanced) made by Madhouse?
In short, will Funimation use the old (and obsolete) Geneon master OR they will get the new (and better) master from Japan? (the remastered OVA 1-5 are already out in Japan).
I made a comparison for the differences between the old and the new (I used OVA 1), as you can see, not just the quality is much better, but there are some other minor differences too:
