i was asking around and somebody told me season 3 was in making , is this true?
i saw clip on and somebody said that animenewsnetwork had something on it.
i was wondering if anyone had any more info to share

Sora no Otoshimono has been revealed to have a season 3, it is stated in that video you must of watched but in Japanese. There is nothing besides that; no ads, no pictures, no video trailers with footage from the next season, nothing. It is a little sad but it is early, all we know is that it will be released in 2012. I assume it will be around the time they usually air the anime. (October - December) I expect to see a lot more information on it this Summer, but we may not see anything until September but very doubtful. Hope I could help. I'm pretty sure this was posted in another thread on this forum but the rumored 3rd season came up because of the "Heaven's Lost Property: The Angeloid of Clockwork" movie that relased on DVD/Blu-ray in Japan this past February which is the sequel to "Heaven's Lost Propery Forte".
It was rumored for a while, but as the previous posters have mentioned, it was confirmed on ANN that there will be a third season. This is with knowledge of Clockwork being released.

Probably not for a while sadly. First it needs to air in Japan, which we don't have a confirmation yet on when that is going to happen. I'm gonna be optimistic and guess spring or summer of 2013. After that we have to wait for Funimation to license the series and start dubbing. Then after a long wait we will finally get the release. The question though will be if we have issues again with the blu-ray release or if they just wait even longer so that doesn't happen again.
omg i love this anime and recently no one has posted anything about season 3 i really want this anime to go on for pretty decent amout of years.
they need to keep the show going. this show is to good to stop.

info on season 3 will be released in the March issue of Shōnen Ace magazine. it is already on sale though. so I think season 3 may be released sometime during the summer (first it'll be subbed, then later in the year in English.).

I read the Manga and for the most part it is pretty close with few exceptions like Chaos still living in the Ocean. I am interested to see if the Dark Angeloids are used and if we get to met Tomoki's Parents. Lets just say Tomoki takes after his Mom and his dad is more like Sohara.
