Just finished season 1 and all I have to say is Wow! What a cool show. I like the concept behind the storyline. All the characters are interesting. I definitely recommend this series! I just started season 2 and still getting used to the different look of everyone.

I have to agree with you, Wonder. Gunslinger Girl is definitely a different show. I don't quite remember what I was expecting from the series, but what I got was so much more. It was an engrossing psychological drama, combining both the sublimated pain of the girls subjected to such a fate and the study of the various ways the fratellos handled (or not) their part in the whole affair. It made me wish the series was more than 13 episodes long-there was just so much more story to cover.
One of the most underrated anime of the 2000s. A real gem, and one of my all-time favorite series.
