This is my 2nd favorite anime. Aaaaaaaaaaand it just ends. FUNimation should encourage get Dann Chester and everyone else to get this show back on the road. It is awesome, haven't heard anyone not like it yet. And the story can't just end with Van and all of his options not being decided yet!
Quite possibly the only series I would care to ever see come back on again. Haven't been this engrossed in a show since Ruroni Kenshin. Watching that by the way again and I see similarities which is why I love this show. Please, if others can randomly start posting on this forum about how awesome the show is maybe they'll start picking it back up.
I am with you, Tailicus. I've done this on one other forum and I am now joining yours. I'm not even a fan of anime and this show changed the way I see TV shows. I really want a second season. The story was the best I've ever seen (especially for a cartoon). Let me know, are you for Van and Wendy as a couple or really good friends? This is a great show. I started watching shows like this again,but the ones ive been watching are by FUNimation should make a second season of this show and start making some of there shows a bit longer, like adding another or a couple seasons. they are really good shows i watched by FUNimation but they ended in like 20-30 episodes, some times it gets kinda annoying (im not trying to offend this company or anything it, just i think they should do.)
so please try to make another season of this show.
Ruroni Kenshin was a good show, but they stop showing it where i lived and after 2 yrs it came back on and i didnt feel like watching it again, but its still a good show. Another good show to watch is Trigun.
I'm actually new to anime and just started watching Gun X Sword at the beginning of this year. And man, did I stumble upon a gem or what?! This show really is something special and it would do my heart wonders to see a season 2 in the midst of progress. I'm so happy I made the decision to give this show a go. Opened my world to anime it did. Now watched Gungrave, Trigun, Bebop, Desert Punk n' just all sorts of animes on netlix, I love em.
Tailicus, too right mate. That's how I first got into anime was because of Gun Sword's awesome reviews. I too am with you, Tailicus. I'll support a season 2 of this any day.
Ketram2, I would like to see Van and Wendy as friends again, seeing as they just reunited after years at the end of the 1st season. Then a further intimate, blossoming relationship down the road of season 2 as they get to know each other for the years they've been separated for.

Now im a big anime fan ive been watching anime for 2 years now and this is 1 of my favorite shows u know wat ima tie it in first place with highschool of the dead its a great anime show i dnt think its a funimation but its great they have a second season to but not in english yet they do have it subbed though and im with the idea of season 2 with his anime bleach is also a great anime but this 1 just stopped left out answers to questions and left cliff hangers i just wish they could get the team back on creating more to this show and i just created an account for funimation so i could be apart of this to bring back GUN X SWORD i put the title in caps wich i nevr do but thts how good this anime is every1 so far likes the show just dnt like the idea of leaving it how it is if u ppl were to give permission to fans who are able to draw like this then maybe the story would be able to go on but i hardly dought it will be as good plz we all beg of the crew to continue the story and so we could see more and get the answers to our question

I completely agree with you, i wan't an anime fan until i watch Gun Sword. The story was real easy to get a feeling for the characters, and you don't want it to end. Its almost torture they way they left it. They need to show what Vans new plans are and travel with Wendy grown up.
on the other post they asked what people think about Van and Wendy. My opinion is they should be best friends and Van should hook up with Priscilla.

Not to be the crusher of hopes and dreams but Funimation doesn't make anime. They only bring it over from Japan and anything they get now they will DUB. Japan is the one that would have to make a second season but it has been out awhile now so I don't see that happening. (Although besides here I don't really go to anime websites so I don't know if there is talk of making another one or not.)
As for this title is looks like it was release in 2005 and Geneon was the first one to pick it up. Funimation then rescued it in 2010 and rereleased it in the states. At least according to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_Sword)
I know Trigun had been out for awhile and they just released a Trigun movie not too long ago so I guess there is always hope.
Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the show and would love to see more. I just don't see it happening, except maybe a movie like Trigun.
