Ok Im gonna make a few key points here since I've always been adept at Language Arts lol
but if you look at how shu's void which I've dubbed the "King's Arm" is explained to do Gai states it "gather's everything and assumes its weight," by carrying the weight of others "strength, weaknesses, light, darkness... Everything."
If that be the case and I believe someone mentioned this before Shu more than likely has absorbed and seald within him the voids of the world and because voids are essentially the shape of one's soul and Shu could have in turn absorbed Inori's soul through the flower created from the reaction of her tear and the virus (for those not paying attention thats how shu uses Inori's Singer's Sword Void to fight Gai who is using Mana's Longsword Void). So in the end when Shu closes his eyes and is with Inori in spirit that could be from him having absorded her soul
Also as stated previously Yuu hasnt died he teleported away and the other guy Daryl wasn't shown to be alive or dead so presumably he escaped somehow, someway. On top of this there have to be other key members of Daath its impossible that only Yuu is important, and on top of all this if Guilty Crown: Lost Christmas is a cannon prequel then its possible that whatever organization that Present works or worked for is Daath in which case i have a feeling that a Second Season is pretty much garanteed
What im really conscerned about is when are we gonna get to watch all this in english lol

After re-watching from beginning to end, I came to the conclusion that a second season seems very unlikely. The major "plot holes" that I originally thought of were actually answered once I re-watched it.
For example, the whole aspect of Inori dying is actually false just like everyone basically stated because of the ability of Shu's void.
Spoiler: Highlight to view
So at the end, Inori still lives but inside Shu
.
Besides that, one of the reasons why I don't believe another season is likely is because of what Gai said to Shu at the very end of their battle where they are Da'at's utopia. Gai told him
Spoiler: Highlight to view
that Da'at can simply reanimate Mana even if she dies, she will just come back; never free from the Apocalypse Virus and the only way to only stop it is to fulfill her role. At the end, Gai saves her from freeing Mana from her role (the part where Gai hugs Mana before the Lost Christmas incident and they crystallize together). So in other words, Mana's role ended and Da'at can't create a new race if Mana (Eve) is gone.
On top of this,
Spoiler: Highlight to view
the virus is no longer an issue as Inori took it all in instead of Shu (saved his life) and all voids are currently sealed away in Shu's body in which he is also unable to draw them out because he no longer holds the "Kings Power."
Other than that, the only thing that truly bothers me is the whole Da'at and Yuu aspect. I want to know what happened to them after the whole 4th apocalypse? Does Yuu still want to pursue a world of a new race even if Mana is not in the picture? This is actually the only question that leaves me unsatisfied (besides Shu and Inori not being physically together) with the whole series. And on top of that, Yuu currently holds a Void Genome (remember there were 3). So does Yuu plan to use his King of Powers still even though all the voids are gone? Maybe in the OVA or even a movie, it could explain just a bit more of Yuu and Da'at and what happened to them at the end.
So all in all, the main factors for a second season is just unlikely because the main parts are done (can't progress from season 1). The only way I believe a second season were to occur is if there's a completely different plot of something else which I doubt will happened since it will ruin the whole story. But at this is point, I see an OVA most likely to occur (well at least I hope) since there are some minor plot holes like what happened to the rest of characters like Daryl, Haruka, and Argo. How exactly did Shu manage to get out of the collapsing tower? I guess we still gotta wait and see
Things to know::Yuu is not dead../daath still exists who has the tools to create another epilouge/inori still has 100% chance of coming back/GAMES ARE GAMES..THEY DON'T MATTER./if daath was almost destroyed previously how were they able to revive mana(how gay was revived if daath is useless..clearly daath is well and truely active)/why yuu had still had a void genome if he was dead and yuu escaped from the tower in the end, didn't he?(clearly yuu is not dead)/there is good enough plot for the 2nd season::shu(he looks like edward+ciel),inori back again,DAATH MORE INVOLVED,VOID CONCEPTS AND ALIEN VIRUS DESTROYED FOR GOOD(SHU STILL HAS VOIDS WITHIN HIM.SO HE MUST BE ABLE TO USE KINGS POWER AGAIN),MORE ACTION ASSURED AND HAPPY ENDING--NONE OF THESE ARE IMPOSSIBLE..I WILL BE WATING...w..a..t..i..n..g..
I'm back and I'm sure there would be a season 2 after they finish up with the side story's + there are still mysteries about the virus am I correct? Oh and Inori can't take all the virus back + do ya think Daath/Yuu would allow it? Oh and what about that other group that appeared in the prequel? AnimeLover If ya havn't notice Daath can just bring back Mana no matter what. I also notice what guy said is just a theory. Mana will still come back no matter what, + if I'm correct isn't overdrive similar to Inori and Mana. So after all the side story's are finished , I'm sure a season 2 is possible. Oh and there might be a way for Inori to come back with Shu in real life. Anything is possible when it comes to anime. Also didn't the person who made GuiltyCrown mention there are 2 seasons for the anime?

Ok I've completed Guilty Crown: Lost Christmas... Seriously epic!!! So if you are referring to Ghost they are just Da'at assassins after Scrooge. A wierd thing to note is that scrooge had some sort of defective for of the "Kings Power" and that he was a Da'at experiment so there are some things the prequel can actually explain but not without materializing more questions. As for the interview your referring to yes it waas stated that the Guilty Crown series was a two season project.

Im gonna have to respectfully disagree Games are not just games if they are cannon and tie in to the entire story with the right elements.
Without a doubt there will be a 2nd season. All evidence points towards this if you look at facts:
1. Shu has all the voids assimalated into his body thanks to his void and on top of this if everyone was paying attention when shu killed Gai he gained Gai's Genome Which means Shu has two Void Genomes therefore even if he lost one he still has the latter. So he still has the king's power
2. Yuu is still alive we all can agree on this, not only that but in accordance to Guilty Crown: Lost Christmas Yuu is just an Envoy or represntative he is not a boss and if he aint boss that means there is someone who outranks and tells him what to do, and seeming since nothing not even the side stories have covered Da'at completely we know there is an antagonistic group for the second season.

if they do make a s2 it will blow my mind to see what the plot will be. i would like to see it made one day though but i kinda doubt it considering how the story in s1 ended
I don't wanna sound dumb but how many episodes are there to Lost Christmas? Every site I've been to just has one but its titled Lost Christmas OVA 2. Does that mean there are 2 episodes and thats the 2nd one?
well....
if you think about the story (how the show went and time released span of episode one - to the last episode,) there is deffenitly high demand (other people wanting ) is one season 2/ or have a new show series, that just picks up were it leftoff and ,or, it could answere the q's of season 1 and then pick up on the new future shu now has with his friends...HOPEFULLY
I personally want season 2 (with the Q's answered)
