Since there is no board for this show yet, I'll post it here and wait for it to be moved.
During their panel at Anime Weekend Atlanta, FUNimation announced that they acquired the license for Guilty Crown, same day stream for the series will start its debut in Japan and will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray next year for North America.

After reading the description of the series,I'm pretty excited about watching it. I like series that deal with rebellions.
This and Fate/Zero were the shows I was looking forward to the most this season so I'm really glad to see a simulcast. I'm absolutely amazed by the production cast on this: the director of Death Note, the writers of Code Geass, music by Supercell's Ryo and animated by Production I.G. who have a pretty near spotless track record.
I've been hyped up about it since Scamp's post. I can't wait to see it.

I absolutely love Funimation for what it has done this year. The licensing of This and Fairy Tail were the two things I've wanted (in anime) this whole year. My favorite voice actors Kayano Ai and Kaji Yuki are in the main cast as well as Kana Hanazawa, favorite artist - redjuice did the character designs. supercell is doing the music, the art is spectacular, everything.
Yea I was also looking forward to it. It looks interesting. Also
I hope the dubbed shakugan no Shana season two and three as well.
I'm so happy right now can't wait to watch it. Also this means I don't have to worry about it being a subbed only release on DVD so I can rest easy now. *breathes sigh of relief* Thanks again Funi for making my day happier.
Yeah this anime looks like it will be hot.

All Will Know The Wonder Of My Dark & Jewled Sky, When All The World Is Wrapped In An Eternal Lullabye.
Yay!
now I just hope someone licenses Chihayafuru, Un-Go and Future Diary then I'll be set.
I hope Guilty Crown is good, I'm trying to learn to actually like things by Noitamina. I know I have a very small sample size, but I didn't really like Fractale or Shiki too much. I recently watched AnoHana though and that's one of my favorite anime now. I saw the second PV for Guilty Crown and it looks really good so I'm pumped. I also saw the one for Un-Go and I hope FUNi gets that as well. I really want them to get Black Rock Shooter for January the most.
PATTY THOMPSON FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
noitaminA isn't really a group or anything, it's just the name given to the timeslot. It was originally started to air anime aimed outside of the usual(otaku) demographic, most notably the Josei genre. Previous entries include Eden of the East, Honey and Clover, Nodame Cantabile, and Kuragehime(Jellyfish Princess).
A lot of people are pretty up-in-arms about Black Rock Shooter. They feel noitaminA has abandoned their original mission-statement and started pandering to the base. But I digress, this is all a little off-topic.
