Me and my friend were just talking about the Wii U, what it can do etc, in honesty I think it sounds great, I've seen how it's used and it looks great, but It came across my mind when I was looking for a Gameboy Advance SP, and I thought, why doesn't Nintendo remaster the old Pokemon games from the gameboy advance etc, and make them available for the Wii U? I'm probably thinking stupid, but I'd LOVE to play those old games again in a better quality, remastered version with achievements etc (Which have been rumoured on the Wii U about achievements for games)
Or even if it's not a hand buy, if they had a store on the system, be able to purchase the old games from the store and download them onto the system?
Just wanted to hear everyone's thoughts on it.

I think it would be a great choice for them to release Pokemon games on there. Pokemon has a large fanbase and market, and people right now do not want the Wii U as far as I can see. Pokemon can totally reel people in. Hopefully the graphics look good. -.-"
I've always wanted a non-spinoff Pokemon game for a home console. It's been my dream~ XD
I could see them releasing them on the marketplace, but there really isn't a point since they're still able to make Blockbuster Poke'mon games for the current handheld.
I'd love to play the old Pokemon games, I used to play Blue so much! However I'm not sure how great the Wii U will be, I'm just not convinced they're heading in the right direction, as I didn't really like the Wii. But I'm still hoping the Wii U does well.
I just want the GB and GBC Pokemon games for the 3DS. I want a copy of Crystal that's battery will last.

Hmm, if anything, I'm all for remastering and replaying the old Pokemon games I've played when I was a teen, although since those games have always had more of a handheld feel, those games will most likely be on the 3DS eshop. I'm still unclear on what kind of console the Wii U will become.
