Unveiling of the Playstation 4
So, Sony has announced that sometime this month they will be unveiling info on the PS 4. What do you guys think it will look like, what it will be able to do? what the media base will be (blu-ray or something else perhaps). I know I'm excited about this, and I'd like to hear everyone else thoughts on it.

According to "The Escapist", the PS4 is NOT gonna be compatible with any current PS3/PSN/PS2/PS1 (BOTH on Disc & Downloadable) until LATER (I mean LATER). This is due to the processing power that the PS4 is coming with (Which raises my eyebrows). In other words, PS4 games and NO OTHER PS titles will work with the PS4.
If this is true, then Sony has rather Shot themselves in the foot several time. So then (again if this IS true), do NOT buy the PS4 on impulse until improvements are made.

Considering that only a handful will only be able to after those changes/updates, it seems to me like Sony is rushing into something that isn't even complete. And if it would overstretch it's processing "power", then it must not be as "powerful" as they want people to believe. I don't own a PS3 but I've played some of it's games at a friend's house and enjoyed them so on the chance I ever wanted a PS4, not having the option to play those games on it would really piss me off.
