Hiroshi Seno, Sega's team manager of console sales, said that the company's Valkyria Chronicles 3 : Unrecorded Chronicles game will not be localized for North America and Europe. Seno cited the low English sales of Valkyria Chronicles 2, which did not justify the money spent on localization; the publisher links its decision on whether to localize titles based on sales of previous games in a franchise.
Seno added that Sega will decide on whether to offer Valkyria Chronicles 3 as a downloadable game on the PS Vita system when it meets with Sony. The game shipped in Japan on January 27 and inspired the Senjō no Valkyria 3: Ta ga Tame no Jūsō video anime project.

As a fan of the Valkyria Chronicles series, I am disapointed that the sales didn't satified the needs to make another Valkyria Chronicles game for U.S and Europe. However, I won't miss it too much since I read that it was a side story to the original game so in a way, I already enjoyed it.
If they wanted it to do better, they should have been on the PS3 rather than the PSP.
All because they thought a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE downgrade from it's wonderful visuals, and capabilities on the PS3 to a smaller, less market, and least profitable in the US would be a latter.
Dissapointment +1
Wait not true.

I have the jp version of the game since it's release and I really like it. Albeit my japanese isn't good enough to full understand it.
