You'll be able to get Heatran and Cresselia after you defeat the Elite 4, but there are some items you need to get first. Serebii has the complete list for legendaries you can get in the game along with how and where. I need to start working on those soon.
And I need to finish Black's extra quests so I can trade my Reshiram and other Pokemon over to Black 2 and then start Black over from the beginning.

I heard that if after you clear the game, you can face the Unova Division of the PWT and then the other region divisions too! Has anyone entered those tournaments and fought the Champions yet?

My Eevee finally evolved into an Espeon in HeartGold so I should be moving forward in that some more over the next couple of weeks. And I finally caught Kyurem in Black so I'm making progress in finishing up the additional quests in that. I plan to trade over my Reshiram and other favorites to Black 2 (once I'm done with the additional stuff) so I can play through Black again, this time with the fire or water starter.
But I haven't been doing much in Black 2 since finishing it . I've done some exploring and training, but I still have to go back to Victory Road to find the ruins of N's Castle. I want to complete the Pokedex (or at least come close), but since I don't have D/P/Pt things might be a little complicated. Guess I might have to go out and buy Platinum since it has both Palkia and Dialga.

That's nice! With Platinum, there are a lot more changes that in Diamond or Pearl including the Distortion World and Giratina's second forme! You can also complete the Sinnoh Pokemon since it has some of the Pokemon from Diamond and Pearl.
By the way, if you're starting Black all over again, here's some advice: Have your water starter learn Ice Beam and never let it forget it! It'll make things easier for you later in the story.
Dragon-types are hard to beat without an ice attack, that's for sure. Probably going to go with Oshawatt (sp?) for when I restart it. I don't remember if I had much difficulty with the dragon-types in the game the first time through. I know my Panpour knew Ice Beam, but he was always the lowest level member of my team (and still is).
As for Platinum, I wasn't ever going to jump into the Sinnoh games, but with wanting to complete the 'dex comes the need for those games. And the revival of my Pokemon addiction (started with SS last February and was fueled further by Black(2)) leaves me wanting more and more Pokemon fun. Platinum looks to be my best bet for saving money and getting all of the Sinnoh Pokemon (that aren't from special events). The added features sound fun too. Most will pick Piplup for the starter.
And speaking of the Pokedex, what did you think of the Habitat List feature? I thought it was pretty useful because before it was hard to tell if I'd caught or seen all of the Pokemon in an area without having to go and look it up. Really hope they keep it for future games.

Yeah, I really helped me find which area had the Pokemon I want and where to go on either water or on land. I also hope that they keep this feature in future games too!
By the way, did you get one of the keys for some kind of cavern that suspiciously have rock, ice, and steel in the name?
Nope, not yet. You'll need the key from the other version to get all three. Registeel/Regice are 'exclusive' to one version but using Unova Link you can apparently get the other key from somebody and catch both no problem.
Going after Latios and Zekrom first, though.
