Note that some discussion points might have spoilers for the original Black/White games since these are direct sequels.
Okay, now that Black/White 2 have been out for a week and a half, how far are you? What do you think? What's your team looking like?
I just got the fourth badge last night and have been doing lots of training since. Gotta prepare for the next gym.
My main team (I swap members out depending on the situation):
Servine lvl 26
Tranquil lvl 26
Sandile lvl 26
Zorua lvl 25 (N's Pokemon)
Growlithe lvl 25
Azumarill lvl 25
Magnemite lvl 25
Herdier lvl 23
Has anybody else caught some of N's Pokemon? I caught a Scraggy and Siglyph (sp?) that had him as the OT.
Anyway, I think it's interesting how much Unova has changed and how divided Team Plasma is. There's the group following N with a goal to help Pokemon, then there's Ghetsis wanting to take over the world. Hugh's also interesting in his own way. I thought he was just a hothead until he finally explained that his sister's Purrloin was stolen by Team Plasma 5 years ago. Really explained a lot of his behavior. The Unova story has been pretty good from the start, and I can't wait to see where things go from here.

So far the story's great and I just got my fifth badge from Clay and won the Driftveil Division of the Pokemon World Tournament!
My current team is:
Samurott Lv.36
Tranquill Lv,30
Lucario Lv.26
Boldore Lv.25
Zorua Lv.25
Genesect Lv.15
I'm also looking for new opponents to battle on the Wi-Fi Connection! So if anyone wants to battle me, tell me!

Same! Clay was easy to beat since I had Servine and Azumarill. I had a bit more of a struggle with Elesa because of the level difference and only having one Pokemon with a type advantage. Right now I just got out of Charge Stone Cave and am going to follow Prof. Juniper to Celestial Tower.
I caught a Klink that had N as the OT in the cave. I don't know, are these supposed to be easy to find or something? When I first saw one in the desert I thought it was a shiny Pokemon and got super excited....
I also finally caught an Emolga. Don't think I caught one of those in Black, but I was really happy to catch one now.
Updated team:
Servine lvl 34
Azumarill lvl 32
Zoroark lvl 31 (N's Pokemon)
Magneton lvl 30
Growlithe lvl 29
Tranquil lvl 31

I beat the game a few days ago, I'm working on breeding and exploring now.
My current team is:
Volcarona lvl 85
Lucario lvl 83
Sigilyph lvl 83
Hydreigon lvl 81
Flygon lvl 69
Gyarados lvl 61
Overall I really liked the game. The story was pretty good. I was surprised to see
I like a lot of the new features too. The Medal system is neat and gives some incentive to keep playing after you beat the game. The PWT is cool too, allowing you to battle the old gym leaders of every region, as well as the past champions.
Don't forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you.
As long as you remember Her, you are not alone.
You can battle old gym leaders and champions? Well that just made me way more interested in the PWT than I was earlier today! I thought it was only going to be Unova's gym leaders.
I need to finish all of the after-the-final-battle stuff in Black still. My team's just not strong enough to do some of the quests or whatever you want to call them so I need to level some more. Glad to hear this one also has incentives to keep playing. But is it just the medals or are there other things that you need to/can do after beating the Elite 4?

I don't think the medals are part of the story so I guess you can collect those anytime you want since there's over 200 medals or so.

I know, but I was wondering if there are any additional things to do. Like Black/White had more things to do, and Gold/Silver took you back to Kanto.
I normally just level up some more and make an attempt to start filling the Pokedex (only filled it once with my Blue version years ago. My Mew and other favorites are on my Gold version now, though, since I start Blue over every so often and I didn't want to lose it). Emerald had the Battle Frontier, so I leveled up a lot of Pokemon to create a diverse team to pick from, and Black has all sorts of things I haven't finished yet.
Gah, I want to keep playing but school responsibilities keep getting in the way so I don't have time. I lucked out and didn't have class today, just had to go to a club meeting, so I got in a good few hours of play time. But at least the weekend's almost here so I can finish it!

Well Firefly, you can always wait until next week to get new downloads for the PWT that have the top 4 trainers for the 2012 Pokemon World Championships. I also heard of the Key System in the Unova Link which can set the difficulty of the game once you cleared the game for the first time to make your opponents easier or harder to battle. so I guess that can give you a challenge.
And I also go back to the original Pokemon games just to relive all those moments where we were just starting out as new trainers or just to have a rematch with the past Gym Leaders using my current team from last time or start over from the beginning without saving just to see how far I can reach in a day.

Not a downloads person, but setting the difficulty sounds interesting. Medals are still fun though, like the Pokemon themselves, Gotta Collect 'em All. I hope this feature stays for future games.
I love playing the old games, they never really feel old and are always fun. I must've gone through Blue a couple dozen times already. I like playing the N64 Stadium games with my teams from the handheld games. Makes it more fun than rentals.

Yeah, playing those old games are fun and playing with your old team makes things more interesting! But I heard that there some secrets in the Pokemon Stadium series like how to have Pikachu learn Surf and a few others. But clearing the Master Ball cup in the Stadiums are EXTREMELY HARD! Especially in the final round with Mew, Blue, and Red!
By the way, does anyone want to exchange Friend Codes for Black/White 2?

Got the White 2 on the 9th. Loving it so far. I defeated Skyla earlier today, and I'm going to take a break for a few days before challenging Drayden. My current team:
Emboar level 43
Cinccino level 42
Espeon level 43
Jolteon level 45
Vaporeon level 42
Flygon level 48
I like Eeveelutions, if you couldn't tell. This might be the team I roll with the rest of the way. I'm contemplating whether to go with Flygon or Altaria for the final spot.
On a side note, my team is defensively challenged. Flygon is the only one with above average base defense stat, and four of the others have defense hindering natures. It seems that ever since natures were introduced, I've always had bad luck with defense and special attack (I've caught six in a row now with low special attack natures).
