I haven't played it. But from the online footage I've seen, it appears to be about 75% platforming and 25% combat. And neither one seems all that interesting to me. Also, the graphics are pretty underwhelming. They look like early 360/PS3 era quality (think 2005 - 2007), and I doubt they would have been impressive even back then. From what I've seen of it, I'd peg Madness Returns as a rental, not a purchase.
