OMG! This was a great anime series! I just finshed watching this series. truly loving the unbelievably awesome anime! 
It had me so hooked that I missed my favorite tv show, Because I had the uncontrolled urge to watch more! definitely going into my top 10 favorite animes ever! So I am dying to know if there is a season 2 of ga-rei-zero? Because the series ended with a cliffhanger. For the love of god let there be a season 2 of ga-rei-zero PLEASE!

Is there a season 2 of ga-rei-zero
Ga-Rei Zero was written as a prequel to the Ga-Rei manga so the story continues there, however it is yet to be published in English.

The anime is a prequel to the manga. The manga has not been adapted into an anime as of yet and may never be. So for now there is no season 2 sorry. The manga tells the original story and I think may be finished but has not be released in English. There is no manga for the series.
BTW I agree this series is great.
Wow that's a shame if the manga isn't out yet or a 2nd season. I'm not a huge manga collector but I buy what I really love and this would be one. I'm more of an anime guy but wow this needs to come out in manga already! I need to read/buy it!

I think the manga is published in English now, and apparently you can read them all free online. After I read a few volumes, I have to say this prequel animation is better in terms of storyline. Its director did a great job in bringing all these dramatic emotions as well as the origin of the story together in such a short series. It's just amazing! And I love the songs and music too!
Do any of you know if there is an official website for Ga-Rei Zero? Coz Funimation is licensed for its English publication instead of the original animation production. (By the way, thanks Funimation for all the translations for us!) We should leave a message in the official website to express our eagerness for a second season!
idk if there a second season but they have the manga in english now so u could read wat happens next . Here just one of the sites that has the manga in english there problem alot more i guess [don't post links to illegal sites]

After reading some of the volumes, I agree there should be a second season. Hopefully an anime adaptation of the manga will happen soon.
Unfortunately the manga hasn't been licensed so there's no legal way to get it here. Fans should lobby licensors instead of going to illegal scan sites. Money speaks volumes.
