The Ouran Host Club blu-ray set has been out of stock for months. Did Funi lose the license or something?
Wow, pretty surprised to see that. Rightstuf doesn't have it listed at all anymore. Don't recall seeing anything saying it was discontinued.

lol, I don't know what happens with some of the shows sometimes. It happened to One Piece Season 2 Fifth Voyage too.
I wonder if Ouran is also one of those show that people claim to love but never buy *coughCaseClosedcough.
when funi was hyping the New Elite service, they said that there would be a HD Version of Ouran going up on it.. however they are not there yet, and at the same time, funi removed the show from their 24/7 channel as well.. maybe they have to do a conversion of all the episodes to HD, and then they will rerelease it in HD in a new DVD set and through Elite.. thus the reason the dvds are out of print, yet at the same time, maybe they did lose the rights to the show, its been 5 years, but then they wouldnt have touted ouran coming in HD to the elite service if that was the case...
also with the recent live action show of ouran that aired in japan over the summer, and the live action movie of it coming out in march, maybe they are resting it for now.. maybe they are planning to air the live action shows? who knows right now..
The Blu-ray for Ouran was discontinued because it did not sale that.
Plus FUNi still have the license to Ouran since it have board on these forums and episodes are streaming here as well.
@GolfDude: all shows on the FUNimation Channel are HD or conversion to HD.
According to Lance on last year's ANNCast, that's exactly what happened as far as the Blu-ray is concerned and it's a shame too since it was not only one of the few upscales that FUNi did right but also one of the few upscales that's better than the Japanese release.
I think the DVD is discontinued as well from looking at this.

The only thing that could be the cause is preparation for an Anime Classics or S.A.V.E. release.
@NJ_, am I not seeing how the US one is better than the Japanese?

Well, that certainly ruined my day. Pity since they had a chance to sell more blu-rays due to the recent drama. I wonder if they would consider a limited run again.
Stuff does sometimes go OOP for a while - Kiddy Grade was OOP until the recent Classics release for example. If they are still streaming it then they still have the rights.
