For me it was D-gray man, season 1 part 1 about three years ago. Since then i have been mostly buying funi shows.

I've been collection anime for 11 years now and I have 1,029 DVDs and 2 Blu-rays (just started collecting Blu-ray) according to my database. Out of that number, 323 discs (321 DVDs and 2 Blu-rays) are from Funimation.

Easy one since I didn't buy anything from FUNi until they had licensed the third OVA for Tenchi Muyo: Ryo-Ohki (which of course was my first purchase from them).
My first was the complete series box set of Ouran Host Club, and that was only because I had a lot of Amazon gift card oney from trading in textbooks. Now that this semester is over I can trade in my books again and buy more anime on DVD!
I think my first purchase from them was "Save Me! Lollipop". I only bought that because of the title. I just couldn't stop asking "What the heck dose that mean?"
The earliest anime release I seem to have from FUNimation (Uncut Yu-Gi-Oh! aside) would be the 2005 Blue Gender boxset. Whether or not that was the first thing I bought from FUNi or not is hard to tell; might have been beaten out by Conquerer of Shamballa.

I believe it was the Full Metal Panic! TSR box set.
This was just last year, but it was Soul Eater parts 1+2 on DVD.

First thing I bought from FUNimation were the VHS tapes (uncut) for Dragonball Z Captain Ginyu: Assault and Dragonball Z Captain Ginyu: Double Cross.
This is my favorite thing to do on the forum:
