Anytime you pre-order you can easily get the product earlier. I think th eearliest I ever got a pre-order was a month before the release date. Cal it a benifit or pre-ordering.

But yeah what a great way to sell pre-orders, normally there is no incentive to pre-order but if I get my anime fix early I'll always pre-order.
I was a bit disappointed in this and some upcoming Funimation releases.
Shana S1 only has a bad upscale for Blu-Ray, but I guess the Japanese is the same.
The other disappointment is that FUNimation will not include the only uncensored episode for Aria the Scarlet Ammo (Episode 13 or OVA is you like it that way).
Who, seems I jumped the gun and TRSI got a bit false information, since FUNimation confirmed on it's Facebook page yesterday that they have episode13/OVA of Aria and they WILL include it. Yay!
But to be on topic:
FUNimation did not include the Shakugan no Shana OVA in the Season 1 DVD/BR pack, even though if my information is correct, it was included in the Geneon DVD release. In Japan the OVA was included with season 2 and FUNimation said that season 2 was delayed to December because they are planning to include more extras, like Shana-tan episodes...but the question is, will they include the OVA too?
Well thats good news.Looks like they just need to let the retailers know now.
Well if they put the Shana-tans on any of them it should be either S2or S3 set. though I wouldn't mind a seperat et for them I would prefer them to be included in one of the other sets.
If you got it from Right Stuf, you can get items early from them since they warehouse items for FUNi.

And I just got word that both my Ergo Proxy complete collection and my K-on! season 2 part 2 DVDs have just shipped, a full 20 days before street.

Yeah I seen that DR. kinda sucks. hopefully its just a misprint of info. But not likely.
