Roku support?

I'm considering getting rid of my cable. Between Netflix, Hulu, and Crunchyroll, I have *just about* what I need...all that's missing is FUNimation for Roku and I'll be set. Any word on if/when support for Roku, PS3, 360, etc. is coming? I am ready to subscribe for a year if they announce Roku soon.

*EDIT: I've officially canceled my cable service. FUNimation, please give us a Roku channel!

Edited by: Dustin on 02/13/2012 - 5:35pm. Reason: Not a Tech Support issue. Moving to FUNimation General.

I'd subscribe to the Elite Membership if they add a Roku channel. That would be awesome.

I'm not sure which platforms we'll be adding. However, until we do add more, you could hook up your computer or laptop to your TV. I do that for Hulu and FUNimation.com. To make things a bit more convenient, I purchased a PC remote off of Amazon for $7.

I can hook it up, but I want that "cable" experience, minus the $100+ monthly bill. Eagerly looking forward to Roku support.

This isn't convenient for my home set-up. That's why a bought a Roku.

There's a lot of Roku owners that are anime fans. You're really missing out on a good customer base. Add support for the Roku, and you'll add subscribers. I'll be happy to give you my money.

FWIW, Crunchroll have deemed it worthwhile to have a channel on Roku and their software even comes pre-installed on the Boxee Box.

My wife and I subscribed for a year to Crunchyroll solely because they have a Roku channel. Wouldn't have subscribed if they didn't have the channel.

I'm a Crunchyroll annual subscriber too. Signed up the same day my Roku arrived.

Anime was the reason I bought a Roku. I already had Netflix & Hulu on the 360 & PS3. But I figured buying a Roku was worth it to watch Crunchyroll on my TV.

There's also the Anime TV channel which has a few good series. Just watched Best Student Council last week. Anyone know how frequently they rotate shows on that channel?

Re: Roku support?

I would also love to have Roku support for Funimation anime. We just got a Roku, and we're enjoying watching anime on Crunchyroll and Hulu+ on any tv in the house. We're also in a position where it's not viable to hook up the computer to the TVs. It's not really plausible to bring the big desktop PC into the bedroom as there's not enough room, and we aren't currently equipped to hook the PC up to the other TV as the projector is on the ceiling, making things difficult. The small, portable Roku box makes it convenient to watch anywhere in the house. Now it would be perfect if we could also watch Funimation too! It would also add an incentive for us to continue subscribing. wink

Dropping off our cable box tomorrow (and canceling our cable service). Going to subscribe to Hulu+ and NHL Gamecenter Live. Still debating Netflix...they have more movies than Hulu+, but we'll see. Along with Crunchyroll...we just need FUNimation on Roku and we're all set.

*Note: I'm still hoping to see subscriptions to CBS/TBS/NBC/etc., once that happens I have absolutely NO reason to go back to cable.
