one thing I would like to see Funimation stop is:

I own a lot of Funimation videos on DVD and at the start of those DVD's I am forced to watch a preview of a show with out being able to skip it.

I would love to see Funimation change this.

how many others agree?

This isn't anything exclusive to Fumation, most companies have at least one or two trailers on their discs they force the audience to sit through. Not a big deal overall though. Gives yea time to make some popcorn or use the loo before yea start watching XD.

You can skip them by pressing the "top menu" button on your remote. Most anime companies allow you to skip the front loading trailers/logos by pressing either the "top menu", "menu" or the "chapter skip" button. For some reason, Funimation has it restricted to just the "top menu" button.

Note: Some of the el'cheapo DVD players may not have the "top menu" button on the remote. The easiest way to rectify the problem is to buy a universal remote.

Hmm yeah I've never had an issue with skipping ahead on Funi DVDs (through use of the top menu).
I remember getting extremely pissed at the Bandai BDs for disabling all types of skipping though.

Yeah I can skip that too. As Joel said just hit the "Top Menu" button on your remote. Easy fix

Hit the Top Menu button.

Or if you're watching on your PS3, hit [].

Simple as that. wink

You can hit the fast forward button that sends it to the next section since the small preview counts as a section. Plus I don't think this is something Funimation can change but the Japanese companys making the series. I like watching the previews but I can understand how some people would like to skip them.

I agree with dark_chaos you can check out the plot of the story without even watching it. But if its an old DVD and you seeing previews you already seen that is different.

Or...here's a thing you can do...try fast forwarding threw the previews.

That's pretty counter productive since fast forwarding is as annoying if not more annoying then watching the previews.
