Yeah? And what is wrong with the Classic line? Whenever people bring it up, they always use 1 title for their excuse, Master of Martial Hearts, they don't bring up any other title. Is that your only title issue? Then stop bring up the only Classic title you don't seem to agree with. They already said that the goal of the Classic line was to have at least 1 of each genre in it. If you don't like that MMH is in Classic, then pt blame on the people that bought it in the first place.
And not even sure why you're caring so damn much about Casshern Sins, you even said you haven't even bought the series yet. So, yeah, don't think you should complain, you didn't purchase any of it to contribute onto the sales.

@Vata: They also have Vandred in the classics line, and lord knows (for better or worse) Sekirie & Rosrio+Vampire will end up there as well (look at their sales)
Again its the overall principle of the thing, call me old fashioned but a "Classics" line should be about the quality of the show over how much money it does or doesn't make them. But hey again, thats just me, and I realize, especially in the modern world, thats fairly unrealistic. Doesn't make it sting any less though.
But hey i'm sure as the line goes on (if it does) we will see more actual modern classics (Like Princess Jellyfish & Shiki) get in the line as opposed to just the modern the ecchi-fests.
@Dom: Well-Known does not equal good. Eiken is well known as well
But I digress, I do admit i've been far too negative on the whole deal, but I truly would love to see some Company come up and make a "Criterion" style collection for anime, as it seems most companies classics/bests/etc collections are rather lack luster. Admitingily in the long run it doesn't mean much, I mean a mere label won't keep one from buying a title they enjoy (its ultimately prices that determines that XD)
But what can I say, I'm an old fashioned fuddy duddy. Guess I just gotta learn to accept things as they are and move on.
On the bright side though with Casshern Sins being cheaper hopefully more people will be enticed to purchase it despite the overall depressing tone of the series. I mean it truly is a work of art! *what not all art is supposed to make you happy*

You expect Princess Jellyfish to be i the Classic line? Funimation said it did well as they thought it would, nothing amazing. Shiki has a better chance at being in it, but we won't know until 1 year has passed after the complete series release.
And also...you're saying "it's not good, shouldn't have been put there in the first place" is your own thoughts on the show, doesn't mean other doesn't think it's good. Now, compare MMH to the other ecchi titles Funimation has. Funimation saw that more fit of a Classic title then Shuffle and Ikki-Tousen. You're have to compare ecchi with ecchi, not the other genre.

@Vata: Even comparing Ecchi To Ecchi most find MOMH to be pretty weak, in fact i've heard/seen people make a ruckus about how Ikki should be in classics & MOMH should be in S.A.V.E. but again, whatcha gonna do, can't change the past or companies bad decisions, *not with out a time machine anyway*
Eh, in a lot of ways, I actually prefer the S.A.V.E. packaging to Anime Classics. For one thing, if a title's an Anime Classic, no matter which show it is, it always as the exact same all-caps Time New Roman font used for the title on the spine. The only two I can think of that don't are Baccano! and FLCL. That's on the slipcover, that's on the insert itself, and there's no flipcover to change it, either.
Where as with the S.A.V.E. edition, once you open it up and flip the cover to the clean artwork, it has the show's title using the actual font from the cover art on the spine. Plus it's.... ya know.... cheaper, too.

@Soundmonkey: Vandread deserved to be put in the classics to begin with because it's well-known enough.

Anyways, back on topic. Add the Baka & Test OVAs to the February releases.
And by the way.... shouldn't this be stickied by now?
You WISH you were this awesome.
